Cappuccino Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

I adore cappuccino and I make great ones at home, so the name of the place was the main reason to come and sit there. We sat on the street terrace and ordered cappuccino and coffee with milk. Honestly, you can’t spot the difference between these two, as you can see in the photo, but the taste has subtle differences. Still, those differences can’t explain the price difference of approx. 1 Euro! But the service was good and we noticed the nice indoor space so decided to come back again in a few days. Next time we sat indoors in a beautiful surroundings, perfect for the brunch or long coffee sipping in the morning or afternoon. The ambiance is classy and busy yet cosy and warm with many colourful details and the staff is very welcoming. Just be aware that the coffee price, just like in Italian bars is much higher if you sit indoors than if you sip it outside (we hope the price is even lower if you take a coffee standing at the bar). We didn’t eat there, since we had a great breakfast at the hotel, but if you have accommodation without breakfast, the Cappuccino Sevilla could be a perfect place for your breakfast or a brunch. Terrible service and rude arrogant staff. They really need to learn how to treat people. We came here on April 22 2023. The place and menu looked great and inviting, the place was not even 1/4 full. The waitress walked right passed us and completely ignored us. We sought out someone to seat us and they said to sit wherever we like. We sat and waited, the same inattentive waitress then came and dumped menus in front of us and left. Not a word. We waited a bunch and nobody came. The place looked so inviting and attractive but turned out to be anything but. We were more than disappointed and just got up and left. I have eaten at many restaurants all over the world for decades- Europe,Asia, Americas, Pacific from no stars to 5 stars and Michelin rated-this never happened to me. SUCH BAD SERVICE. We sit down to grab something to drink, very over priced but ok, that's the kind of bar. We were outside, been waiting for someone to come and take our order but everytime a waiter would come outside no one would come to us (we were not reading the menu). After a while my boyfriend decided to go ordering inside and the waiters told him they would have come to take our order. We have been waiting and twice the waiters came outside to serve other costumers. A third time one of them came outside, had a look around, saw us and ignored us, tidied up some menues on the tables and turned around. We immediately went away.
