THE REVIEWS ABOUT RUDE STAFF ARE 100% REAL
Here it goes: There were no chairs outside, I’ve asked the barmaid (a woman) if I can take one. I wouldn’t take it otherwise, anyway she literally saw me taking it from in front of the bar. 5 minutes later, I’m half way through my food another waitress comes out, shouts at me, tells me I must bring the stool back. So in my broken spanish I explain the other girl let me do it. She tells me to show her which one, literally stops me to show her who told me to bring it out. Well there’s a man behind the bar now, because the shifts changed, so she tells me im lying. There were 2 women behind a bar before 4 pm, she obviously knew it. And yes I sneaked out with a stool like a criminal I am! Anywho there she is - a woman who let me to take the chair - leavening the place, so I pointed at her but she was already out of the doors and I can’t see the reason why would any of us follow her. RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF. The man behind the bar just mumbled “lo siento”. The women who spoke to me outside was absolutely disgraceful. Even if the other one said yes but you can’t actually take the chairs outside I’d just bring it back and say oh sorry I was told something else but not a biggie, but treating me like I’ve stolen this chair and shouting at me in front of the other customers was unacceptable. I know no one cares about this review, it will be lost among the others and the staff/owners/management don’t speak English so won’t even care but still - shambles. Ah at the end the yelling woman felt a little stupid and wanted to offer me some other chair from outside and was calling me “carinio”… what a joke! So to sum up - I was having an excellent day until that rude person stared yelling at me. But hey we’re in Andalusia that’s the quality of the service right? ;/;/;/ this opinion wasn’t born...
Read moreIf I had known this place was part of a chain, I would’ve gone to a different location. And if I had known there was this long haired european woman with glasses and tattoos working there, I defo wouldn’t have walked in.
On my second morning in seville, 2 days ago, I experienced one of the clearest acts of racial discrimination I’ve ever faced. I was the only customer waiting at the counter to order at the time but this staff member completely ignored me, pretending to be busy in the kitchen telling me to “wait” and doing nothing. The moment european customers walked in, she immediately came out, smiling and taking their orders. Even other customers gestured to her asking if she shouldn’t take my order first and of course she said something in spanish, supposedly meaning that I could wait.
She knew exactly what she was doing and I will never forget how deliberately she treated me like I didn’t exist. If another staff member hadn’t noticed me later I would have walked out without eating.
I didn’t expect to face this kind of racism, especially from someone so young. It’s sad that in 2025, attitudes like this still exist. In countries where basic manners and decency matter, people don’t get away with this. But I guess not everyone grows up learning respect.
The food made by that woman isn’t even worth commenting on. I truly don’t understand how she still has a job.
To other Asian travelers: just skip this place. Or if you see a woman with long hair, glasses and tattoos behind the counter, LEAVE. No breakfast is worth being treated like that.
I’m truly sorry and regret taking my old parents to a place where they were...
Read moreWe were strolling past,en route from Plaza de Espagña. Wanted to sit and eat a small light snack. This is the perfect place, I think. Pleasant staff, quiet ambience /except for a lady who had some problems with her order!!very entertaining to watch/listen. Easy to order at counter, or on a form at your table. We got 4 small montadittos, 2 cerveza and 2 copas de vino tinto, Cune is a decent wine,I think. Bill was 13 Euro, nobody in rush to ask us to leave. Spotless toilets. Sad we can't return as we leave beautiful Seville tomorrow. Slan go foill/Hasta...
