I came here to charge my phone and have something to drink. The head waitress??, a woman with black and blonde hair, responded very harshly when I asked to sit at a table with an outlet, only speaking in Spanish. The issue was resolved and I sat down. About 10 minutes later, when I raised my hand to order, she replied again only in Spanish, telling me to wait one minute, (she was not doing anything just standing) but in such an incredibly harsh tone and with facial expressions that made me feel like I was being scolded by a teacher. Afterwards, she repeated it in English .I wish she had done the same from the beginning regarding the outlet situation.
I only raised my hand once to place an order. Since I thought she could also take orders, I ended up being scolded. At such a central restaurant, being treated this way either because the staff doesn’t speak English or chooses not to was a real disappointment. If you don’t want to feel like a student being scolded, I would not recommend this place.
(On the other hand, I ordered an Aperol Spritz and the girls working at the bar were super sweet, spoke English, and even offered a...
Read moreWent to El 29 for dinner. Was extremely disappointed with the service, it seems someone in a suit compared to a host came over to ask us what we would like to drink and we had not been given a drinks menu yet. We then asked for one and proceeded to then try get someone's attention for the 10 minutes that followed after he said he would give us a couple minutes. The whole time he was just talking in front of the bar. We then ordered food and drinks at the same time, food came out less than 5 minutes afterwards with drinks still not in site. The pork cheek was hot but the mashed potatoes underneath were still cold. Pretty disapointed considering the meal was 18€. I sent it back and 5 minutes later it came out hot. The server then tripped and spilled a little bit of the chickpea soup that my companion ordered. After checking receipt we found we also got charged for the bread that was placed on the table that we ate thinking it was complimentary with food. After not being told otherwise. I do not recommend coming to this establisment as the price does not reflect the...
Read moreIf you’re visiting Parque de María Luisa and looking for a cozy place to enjoy authentic Andalusian flavors, this spot is a hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious full of local character and fresh ingredients. I tried the salmorejo and grilled Iberian pork, both perfectly seasoned and cooked with care. The tapas were vibrant, especially the spinach with chickpeas and patatas bravas, which had just the right amount of spice and crunch.
The ambience was what truly made the experience memorable. Nestled near the lush greenery of the park, the outdoor seating allowed us to enjoy the fresh air and calming views, surrounded by orange trees and birdsong. It felt relaxed yet elegant — perfect for a slow afternoon or a romantic evening.
The staff were kind, attentive, and happy to explain dishes. The service felt genuine and unhurried, just like the spirit of Seville itself.
Highly recommended if you’re looking to pair a walk in the park with a flavorful, relaxing dining...
