I recently dined at Taj Mahal restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The tandoori chicken, which is usually a highlight of Indian cuisine, was a letdown as it wasn't cooked in a clay oven. Additionally, the naan bread was disappointingly thin and crispy, resembling poppadoms more than traditional naan. To add to the disappointment, the table I sat on was so tilting that it resulted in a spill of the initial coke we had poured. There seemed to be plenty of staff, but their attention to small details was lacking. This was quite a contrast to the authentic Indian dining experiences I've had in places like Brick Lane. One bright spot in the evening was a friendly and English-speaking waiter who made the experience somewhat better. However, overall, for a premium restaurant like Taj Mahal, these issues were hard to overlook. It pains me to say that I left without finishing my meal due to these concerns.

Arrogant waitress! Poor quality and quantity. Even the main dish is not for an adult person! Bad taste. I have eaten many Indian and non Indian restaurants in Europe and outside of Europe but not like this. So please don’t even try to teach me about your food portion, taste and your kadai size an all. This is my first time that I experienced such things. All you know how to argue with your customers rather than acknowledge it. Even you’re arguing in the review section! Which is really shocking the way you’re handling customers experience. Hats off to you. I know it’ll hurt your ego after you read my post rather than accepting your flaws and apologies but don’t bother to reply I’m not interested to read. If I lived there I’d file an official complaint against it. Stop mistreating your customers inside the restaurant and also in online platform. It’s clearly a scam and of course a tourist trap.

I’m writing this review because you MUST try this restaurant. We were visiting Spain from the U.S. and decided to try a different cuisine while in Seville. It was the BEST Indian food we have had at a restaurant…EVER. It was very fresh and just a very unique taste. We had the mutton 25 and vegetable makhani which were delicious. For dessert, we had the Kulfi cheesecake (interesting and delicious) and Gulab Jamun (comparable to homemade). Additionally, it is handicap accessible - truly- with enough space to maneuver a wheelchair and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom. If I had to write anything negative I’d say..they charge extra for rice and the room was a little chilly. But that is ALL.

We had an amazing experience at the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant in Seville! We ordered the Chicken 25, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection—definitely a standout dish. What made the evening even more special was the exceptional service. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu, explaining each dish and giving thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. It felt like a personalized dining experience, and every suggestion was spot on. The combination of fantastic food, warm ambiance, and attentive service made it one of the best meals we had during our trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Seville!

Nice restaurant in Seville with okay food and service. Food: It tasted like the food was not made from good ingredients. White rice has a weird distinct smell to it. The Tikka Masala and Chana Masala is lacking the flavour that I am used to. Naan felt like it was store bought. Good presentation though. Service: Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and was available to accommodate our requests. Ambiance: Good space for family gathering, date nights and friends meet up. Great Indian culture decor. They also have a bar. Value: Prices were cheap but food tasted cheap as well. Food is okay, but you could do better.

After 4 days of our Europe trip, we had this first Indian restaurant in Sivella where we just ordered basic chola and naan along with veg biryani. Food was quite good, better than our expectations in a foreign country. One of the staff was also Indian which felt like comfort in a far away land.
