Los Coloniales: Authentic Vibes and Tapas Goals If you’re after an authentic Sevillano experience, Los Coloniales is the place to be. The vibe is bustling, lively, and unapologetically local—exactly what you hope for when hunting for great tapas. The portions here? Let’s just say they didn’t get the memo that tapas are supposed to be small. Every plate was packed with flavor, and the generous servings made it feel like the best deal in town. From the melt-in-your-mouth jamón to the perfectly seasoned croquetas, we were in food heaven. The service deserves its own shoutout: fast, friendly, and efficient without any of that “tourist trap” energy. You can tell they care about making sure you have a great time.

Good but not great. One of the most recommended spots in Seville which unfortunately for Los Coloniales I think set the bar too high. We arrived without a booking (I’m not even sure you can book) and our name was popped on a chalk board. We didn’t have to wait too long for a seat on the terrace, maybe 20mins. The waitress would call out a name maybe twice. We saw several people leave the area while waiting for their table and if they weren’t present when their name was called they were taken off the list. A few people unfortunately missed their tables. It was a firm system but seemed to work. The menu is extensive as is the wine list. As all the other reviews mentioned the almond chicken is delicious. However, we did find the other dishes ok, but nothing spectacular. The salad was incredibly large in size. The bravas were average. Having said this the cost was very low for such a popular spot. Service was very fast. I would call the waitress firm but fair. It’s a spot to visit with nice atmosphere on the terrace, but don’t be devastated if you miss out.

Wonderful service and affordable, delicious food. The warm and friendly waiter recommended us a glass of white wine to go with the meal that was fab! Though indoor seating is usually packed with a long waiting time, the outdoor tables are usually freely available. Sitting outside in winter isn't a big ordeal either - they have these large heaters that turn on and keep you warm whilst you done outside. The food we has was the solomillos, berenjenas (with honey) and we particularly enjoyed the fried queso! The prices were also reasonable, with roughly €2-3 per tapas. You could order larger sizes if you wish. Can't go wrong with this place!

I am certain that in Seville they build corners just to make tapas bars . It may not look that exciting from the outside ,this popular bar is always busy , outside and inside serving quality food and some good wines at only € 2-3. This place is nicely located in Plaza Cristo de Burgos and opening around mid day the atmosphere is very good and another type of friendly bar I enjoy , A drink or two and a couple of nibbles and move on to the next to try something else , however sometimes is so warm and friendly that you stay longer than you intend. They definitely had plenty of choices to try from which made us quite full.

We spent a wonderful evening here drinking local red wine and eating the food they serve here. We had some cheap red wine (11 euros, it was good for the price) and we had two dishes, some octopus salad (it was really good, with vinegar and vegetables) and some grilled meat with potatoes, which was also amazing. We both loved the food and the wine and will come back later if we have the opportunity. The bill was 46 euros, which can be considered really cheap around these parts. I can recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but wants to have a good evening.

Definitely one of the best tapas spots in the city. We visited twice and weren’t disappointed in the slightest. The service is so warm and they made an effort to speak with us despite the language barrier. Locals and tourists come alike. The menu in English is a welcoming gesture. Service is totally wow and they never ceases to impress us. Vegetarian friendly, we could choose many tapas to go with our choice of organic wine. Prices are nominal and I can’t fault much since the food is freshly prepared. Total delight in the city and recommend a visit.
