This is a late review, I stayed here back in April during the Le Faira and have been trying to follow up with the hotel since but they have not reply, I will try to keep this review balanced but feel that others should know what the hotel is capable of. To put it in context we paid a rate of 790 euros per night. Travelled with my mom (who has mobility limitations) and sister, we are not a rowdy group. Rooms do not believe the capacity listed on the website, we had a suite booked where it said the occupancy was 4 people and upon arrival this was changed to 2 people (out of no where), I believe the hotel was not sold out and they were attempting to get us to pay for a second room (this was despite me showing them their website), of note, there were men bringing home several guests in the evening and nothing was said to them if you get a room facing the courtyard you will have absolutely no light, it feels like a dungeon the rooms facing outward have issues with bugs, they will be crawling all of your stuff in the mornings Service Front desk manager is a bully Reyes Nieto is a bully, she threatened to call the police if we did not book and pay for a second room, she then declined to respond to any follow up emails Pablo at the front desk is a creep, he followed me into my room on one occasion and would not leave until I asked him too Do not take out any cash in front of Pablo he sees it as an invitation (I was digging through my passport holder to get my passport out and had to pull out some money in the process), Reyes will reinforce this
In terms of amenities, the pool area is quite small, the photos are deceiving, there is probably space for 4 people to sit up there and 4 people to be in the pool comfortably.
The food is decent, but there are much better quality and cost options in Sevilla.
The whole experience made me uncomfortable, if I had not paid so much, we would have left. The hotel refused to refund us when we told them how uncomfortable we felt and continued to harass us. They ruined a once in lifetime trip for me, my mom and sister.
In summary: DO NOT STAY HERE! DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY! They are terrible and just want to take money from you and treat you like dirt, especially if you are...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2024. When we got there, we got a great welcome and assistance from the reception to get the rental car parked and they also had arrangement for parking while we were there (that was a bit expensive at 35€ per night). When we checked in, we were upgraded to a Junior suite and got room 108. The hotel interior is stylish and felt luxurious and this feeling continued when we got to our room. The walls were light, there was a wooden floor and we got a kingsize bed. There was also a sofa, table and chair and also a work desk with options to make coffee/tea and a small fridge. The wardrobe included a small safe. The bathroom was huge with a separate room for toilet and bide, two stylish sinks with good amenities and a large shower area that worked great!
At the top of the hotel, there was a restaurant and bar with a view. And there was also a small pool and just a few seats. Location of the hotel is great. Seats de Sevilla is just around the corner and it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the cathedral. Breakfast at the hotel was served on the ground floor and included all the basics and there was also an option of ordering eggs. Service was a bit slow when there were many guests as one person seemed to handle orders, bringing out the food and making coffee. I was the first one to order egg one morning and 40 minutes after breakfast service was opened, I had still not gotten my poached egg, so this is something that needs to be improved.
We also had some problems with our TV remote control in the room and I would also like to see more charging points in the room. As I’m used to sleeping with a duvet, it would have been great with a than duvet instead of just a sheet.
But all in all, a great hotel with a luxury feeling, stylish room, great amenities and with a roodtop bar/restaurant with a view. Thanks for the great service from the front desk! I would not hesitate to stay here again and to recommend this to family...
Read moreWhat sets this small hotel apart is the customer service on Reception - Belen was THE stand out person on reception, as was Pablo and Giraldo. They were so helpful, polite and warm and really set an excellent tone for our stay. Belen could not do enough for us - what a wonderful asset that she is to the hotel!
Hotel Positives
The reception team Perfect location - away from the noise and activity of the main centre, down cobbled streets in the beautiful old town of Seville Comfortable beds and rooms cleaned each day, loads of fresh towels and gorgeous toiletries Nice to have a small pool and restaurant on site Lovely to have access all day to cava, coffee from the machine and a few snacks We enjoyed use of the sauna Maria was excellent during our restaurant meal - very knowledgeable and helpful, Belen in the restaurant was also lovely . Food was nice .
Negatives
Although breakfast was nice and an enjoyable experience each day, the customer service was pleasant but just missed the 5 star mark. Dirty cups plates etc were not removed swiftly from the table, leaving our table cluttered, having to ask for coffee, etc
Breakfast could have become repetitive, same pastries each day, same menu etc . Coffee was fine but from a machine, pastries were obviously bought in, my hot food arrived stone cold on one of the days
Tables weren't cleared quickly enough at breakfast which didn't always create the best first impression upon entry and buffet food and sugars etc weren't replaced quickly or efficiently enough for a five star establishment
Overall we would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again
Your reception staff all deserve a pay rise! They were superb!
