Mano De Santo — Restaurant in Seville

A fecha de 21 de julio de 2025, la página web enlazada en la ficha de Google Maps de este restaurante sigue mostrando un menú desactualizado con precios incorrectos — PRECIOS QUE SE NIEGAN A RESPETAR.

He estado en este sitio varias veces, normalmente compartiendo platos con amigos y pidiendo del menú en papel. La comida está buena — esa ha sido la única razón por la que aguanté el trato profundamente antiprofesional y grosero. Pero mi última visita, hace unos meses, fue la gota que colmó el vaso. No volveré, y te animo a que comas LITERALMENTE EN CUALQUIER OTRO SITIO si valoras tu tiempo, tu dinero y tu dignidad. Aquí te explico por qué:

He trabajado en este tipo de ámbito y sé lo difícil que puede ser tratar con el público. Por eso siempre intento expresar cualquier duda o problema de forma educada. Así que imagínate mi sorpresa cuando, al señalar amablemente que los precios en la cuenta no coincidían con los del menú online (por ejemplo, 5,50 € por unos tacos que aparecían a 5 €), el personal reaccionó con hostilidad.

Reacción agresiva inmediata. La camarera me acusó de decir que me estaba estafando. EN NINGÚN MOMENTO insinué algo así.

Gaslighting con los menús. Señaló el ÚNICO menú en papel sobre la mesa y dijo que esos eran los precios "reales". Para ponerlo en contexto: éramos seis personas y NO HABÍA NINGÚN BLOQUE CON CÓDIGO QR. Como no lográbamos llamar la atención de nadie que parecían ocupados, buscamos el menú usando el enlace en la ficha de Google Maps del local — que A DÍA DE HOY sigue llevando a una web desactualizada con EL MISMO DISEÑO. Cuando se lo explicamos, nos dijo con condescendencia que era NUESTRA RESPONSABILIDAD saber cuál menú era el correcto. Luego trajo un bloque con código QR de otra mesa (después de que señaláramos que en la nuestra no había) y dijo que DEBERÍAMOS HABERLO PEDIDO.

Ataque en grupo. Otra camarera intervino y nos echó la culpa ("la culpa es vuestra" nos dijo) por no haber confirmado los precios o mostrado el menú si teníamos "dudas". (NO TENÍAMOS DUDAS — los precios estaban escritos claramente en el enlace).

Falta total de responsabilidad. Al final vino un encargado y admitió que el enlace de Google lleva a una web antigua, pero dijo que NO ERA SU PROBLEMA. Le recordé que el tema no era la diferencia de 50 céntimos — era la FALTA DE RESPONSABILIDAD por parte del negocio, que afecta directamente a los clientes.

Sinceramente, cada visita aquí ha sido un caos por una u otra razón, pero esta fue definitiva. NUNCA SABES CUÁNTO VAS A PAGAR y el personal te trata como si tuvieras que conocer el menú mejor que ellos. Esperé varios meses para escribir esta reseña, con la esperanza de que actualizasen el enlace de Google. NO LO HICIERON. Así que aquí está.

Y una última cosa sobre Mano de Santo: según qué camarero te toque, puede que tomen la comanda a medias — primero unas bebidas, luego desaparecen antes de que los demás puedan pedir. Igual con la comida. UN DESASTRE TOTAL.

En resumen: NO VALE LA PENA...

Service is amazing. Very good vegan taco options. The food is delicious and I enjoy the ambience sitting outside. Definitely would eat here again for their vegan options. It's among the best Mexican food I've had in Spain. I have since come back a few times for their vegan tacos. If you're willing to sit inside you will find a seat quickly. But even if you just wait for outside seating it doesn't take too long. For some reason the staff is rushing around all the time. I'm not sure why, maybe their bosses tell them that they have to service the tables very quickly. Which is a very non Spanish thing to do, usually most restaurants are very chill here in Spain and that adds to the ambiance. But when they're running around like crazy it's sort of stressful. But still the stuff is very nice and they usually speak english. I loved the mezcal selection. I recommend going up to the bar to see what they have because it's usually not listed on the menu. And their prices are really good....

The tacos were just ok, I have to eat a GF diet so they were sufficient enough for my short stay in Seville. I would also like to note that I have been living in Spain for 5 months and have been to quite a few cities as of late and this is the only restaurant that I have been to (so far) that didn't allow people to enter even though we had our vaccination proof. The QR codes from outside of the EU (i.e. the US & Canada) aren't recognized by their scanner and my CDC card from the US was also not good enough. The manager wasn't rude in her explanation or anything and it wasn't a big deal to dine outside but you guys have to note that not everyone is from the EU and if the airlines, hotels, etc. are all requiring proof of vaccination or negative PCR tests, that same proof should be recognized/accepted at...
