Read moreA nightmare tourist trap! This was the worst experience I ever had in Spain and absolutely the worst restaurant in my life. I was in Seville with my Wife for our honeymoon and since we were just arrived at our hotel we asked for a suggestion for the dinner. This was the awful name they came up with, probably because they have some kind of agreement together. Have you ever heard of the rule "too fast too soon" for the dishes served? Well this happened, we asked the waiter to suggest us what was the best plate we could dine with, he suggested a Paella and a plate with pork and chips in a whisky sauce(I don't remember the name) and we agreed on these, the plates arrived in 3 minutes from the order we made. This alarmed my wife immediatly, how could the plate be ready so soon? Pre-cooked and microwaved? maybe, maybe not. This however wasn't the wrost thing, the plates WERE AWFUL! We tried just a couple of Paella whilst we have been in Spain for our 15 days honeymoon trip and I assure you not only this was the worst of all but either it resembled the frozen one you can purchase at any super market, or the supermarket one are really good or they are really bad at it. Lets speak about the shrimps in this paella, they had a bed smell but seemed fine, however I urged my wife to stop eating because I didn't want any food poisoning, since the plate I was eating (pork with chips) were basically drown in this "whisky" and the taste was awful. Can't say much for the pork it was neither good nor bad. I know I may look obnoxious but this was the really worst restaurant I ever experienced in my 37 years of life. DON'T GO THERE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE AND DON'T HAVE ANY...
Read moreService was awful, would honestly give 0 stars if I could.
When we sat down we asked for a menu, the waiter did not bring a menu so we grabbed one of an empty table, not a good start!
We eventually ordered after calling the waiter over (still no menu). We ordered an arrangement of Tapas including a vegetarian paella and a beef paella.
The food then arrived alarmingly quickly for hot food and the order was wrong. One plate was some sort of meat with chips and another was paella with another meat (maybe chicken, maybe horse) and prawns.
We eventually got eye contact with a the waiter to call him over and he insisted we had the right order, the paella and the beef dish even though we clearly ordered (IN SPANISH) a vegetarian paella and a beef paella.
As if this wasnt bad enough, the state of the beef was horrific, dog food would be a compliment! Must've been at least 5 days old and just have been sitting in a stew pot, absolutely disgusting.
To round it off, we were clearly finished (although not much food was gone) for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. The waiter was busy stacking chairs while our table and others were requiring service. Eventually we asked for the bill and to top off a great lunch the waiter was smoking a cigarette at the bar while I paid him!!
Would recommend for the hilarity but certainly not the quality of service or the standard of the food.
By the way, I have never written a negative review before and don't think I ever will again but this was THAT bad.
Only positives is that some of the food was ok:
The paella had quite a nice flavour and I have had worse...
