Sevilla's Best Kept Secret!
An amazing restaurant with chic decor, wonderful ambience, incredible food and first class service!
I booked a table at RICO to celebrate my 40th Birthday at the end of February with 10 of my friends. We had all come from London for the weekend and were simply blown away by the magnificent experience we had.
The Manager, Paolo, was absolutely brilliant from the very first conversation I had with him when I called to enquire about booking. He was so incredibly helpful and made sure everything was taken care of, from helping to choose the perfect menu, to arranging secure international payment for the deposit, to accommodating for specific dietary requirements and allergies within the group. He even helped to arrange a surprise birthday cake for me with one of my friends!
Knowing we were coming from London, he invited us to pop in when we arrived in Sevilla, so I could meet him, see the restaurant in person, confirm all the details and make sure that I was happy with everything before the event.
On the actual night, Paolo and his team continued to deliver amazing service. Everyone was so warm, welcoming and eager to make sure we had the best experience. Nothing was too much trouble and they truly made us feel like VIP's.
The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. A feast which had many traditional Andalucian dishes to choose from. We had starters, mains and dessert - every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The Tempura Artichokes were insanely good! The Beef Cheek was incredibly tender and super tasty. The staff ensured that our glasses were always topped up and we never had to wait for a drink.
I genuinely could not have asked for more and am so grateful to Paolo and the RICO team for making my birthday so special and very memorable. Thank you so much.

Read moreI had a very bad experience with the service. When I placed my order, I explicitly asked for a hamburger without pork cheek and asked for it to be removed, which the waiter confirmed. There was a mix-up in the kitchen and I was served the burger with the pork cheek. I didn’t care too much about it as mistakes happen in the kitchen, even if this one could have been fatal for an allergic person, for example, who would have requested something similar. And while the waiter (who was great and whom I thank for his welcome and the quality of the service) and one of the managers (very courteous) apologized, the waitress, or at least one of the managers who helped with the service, was particularly unpleasant, not apologizing at all for the mistakes, ignoring my comments and showing no professionalism or respect. We ordered cocktails and the starters came at the same time.We felt rushed in the beginning when they asked 3 times if we had finished the starters when thy could see we still had food in our plates. My husband got his main course before they took away the starters plate and I got mine 5 min after him. Not the best to enjoy a meal together. Then I was asked 6 times by 3 different people if they could take my plate away when it was clear there was still food in my plate. The ice-cream had bits of "ice" inside. When the bill came we had to ask after at least 10 min waiting for someone to come with the machine and the cherry on the cake was that once we paid we did not get "thankyou", "goodbye" or even a glance.
