The flavor was ok but the service was horrible. The staff walked around with their shirts untucked like they recently woke up from a nap. There was no warm greeting or acknowledgement when my party arrived. Everyone seemed rather aloof. We were the 2nd party to arrive right at opening. The menu looked really interesting. Their pizza with chicken and kimchi really caught my attention. However, when I asked to order the dish, the waiter quickly cut me off and told me that it was incorrectly translated. It's really just broccoli with no chicken or kimchi. Are you freaking kidding me? Then why the hell is it on the English menu. When the dishes arrived, the girl didn't even explain what they were. She seemed annoyed when I asked her what a bowl of brown mush was, which turned out to be pig's trotter. Presentation was probably one of the worst I've seen in my 3 weeks of travel. In addition to the brown mush that turned out to be pig trotter. My tomato salad came with a giant ball of mozzarella on top. The chicken wings was also a pile of brown mess. The pizza arrived looking like the Seville Metropol if you know what I mean. At the end of the meal they gave us complimentary sherry in test tubes. Yes I said test tubes. I understand the current trend of being cool and hip. But I like restaurant staff to be dressed appropriately and act professionally. To me, this joint is operating at a level of a burger chain. So folks, save your money and walk 20 meters down the street. There is a wonderful place called Arte y Solera!Their food is amazing and the service very attentive...

TL;DR: food was good, service was poor with bad attitude from the waiter.

Long version: we got there at 1PM, time the restaurant opens, but kitchen does not open until 1:30PM. We went on a Friday, it was empty at this time so no need for reservation. From the beginning, our waiter – a dark short hair man – was super aggressive with us. I am not sure if it’s his style or he did not like us, but we had a very bad time. I am always please with service in Spain, everybody is nice! This waiter must be trying to compete with the worst Paris waiters (I am French so I know what encountered a few waiters with attitude). At some point, I nearly asked if there was a problem with us and if we should leave, but I figure it was not worse it.

ANYWAY, other than this I had a Rosé Mojito, which was quite good. Refreshing after walking in the heat. I had the pork tartare with smoked yolk, this was my favorite thing, delicious. I know that most are afraid to eat raw pork, what you fear is actually not true anymore, it’s not more risky than eating beef tartare. Then I had the foie gras burger, it was good but nothing great. The piece of foie gras was small, therefore a 1/3 of the burger was plain.

Service was quite slow, even thought the restaurant was empty, not a big deal since we weren’t in a rush, but that’s a fact.

We like the fun shots of porto(?) at the end in the test tubes. Prices were very reasonable.

I would not go back. There are so many good restaurants that I will not waste my time, money, energy and mood on a nasty...
