In a great location at the quieter end of the strip, near to the infamous church, this vegan Indian restaurant has a menu that is defined by its simplicity. The range of dishes offer just the right amount of choice without being overwhelming meaning that everyone can find something to their taste. And with a choice of three levels of spicy you can customise a dish to your own tolerance.
I opted for onion bhajis to start which came well presented with a tasty and aromatic curry sauce. You should be aware that portion sizes are generous here, I would have been happy to share the starter had I not been on my own.
For the main the 'no chicken' jalfrezi was a great choice, being presented in a balti dish with a light and spicy flavour. Accompanied with basmati rice and a fabulous raita I have to be honest I struggled to finish. One of the pitfalls of trying a restaurant for the first time.
I sat out on the terrace and the service was efficient and pitched just at the right level.
Overall with its combination of location and great food this is a 'must visit' for any Vegetarian, Vegan, or Flexitarian...
Read moreWent there with the wife for New Year's Day, we were visiting Sitges from Barcelona. I had been there the previous year but my wife no, so I wanted to return and take her. First of all the interior of the restaurant is really nice, cosy and clean. So, basically, the food is very very tasty and my wife who can be quite particular also loved it! What I also like its that the food does NOT come quickly, which for me is a good sign and a sign that the food is fresh off the stove, I have no problems waiting for good food. Also, what was note worthy was the service. Our waiter was Alex, he was the way waiters should be, very friendly, hospitable, knew the menu and always had a smile on his face. He was interacting with all the customers, but not overly so. He passed by a few times just to check everything was ok, one of the best services I've received in a restaurant in Spain! (and I used to be a restaurant manager, so I know what I'm talking about!) Well done Alex, thank you and thank you Cinnamon,...

The food is affordable and delicious (I've never found a kale dish that I've really liked, but the kale Caesar salad here is amazing)...in fact, I've not had anything here that I have not fully enjoyed.
And what goes well with great food? Excellent service, of course. The service is prompt, but you never feel rushed. There is truly nothing I could suggest they change to make it any better, and that's rare. Oh, and the restaurant itself is spacious, but cozy and comfortable; again, I can find no faults here.
But try for yourself, I'm fairly certain you will not be disappointed. Almost forgot, the vegan chocolate tart is creamy and delicious (in fact I just had...
