The reviews were better than the original experience. All the tapas were bread-based and my suspicion was that the bread was not very fresh. Halfway the meal I saw someone coming in with new and fresh bread 🥖 ‘Warm’ dishes are put in an oven or microwave to heat it up including the bread. Not the best option imo. The staff was busy but not very efficient. Only the guy behind the counter spoke English. The waitress didn’t speak any English so ordering wine is ‘rouge y blanco’? The menu (only shown on the wall) is in Spanish. She was not able to help in any way because there was no communication possible. All the Spanish speaking people could be helped better with questions and answers.
The place was crowded and if you didn’t reserve in time than there is no place for you.
The food itself looks good and except the bread ok. If you order something else than tapas I think you’re better off in what I saw on other plates.
The room outside is shabby. Inside very crowded and small but maybe in this restaurant the best choice. Especially when you need to communicate in English.
For Spanish speaking people a 3star but for me only 2stars. More is possible with English menu, tapas without bread and better white wine.

Read moreSuper place if you want an authentic experience of Basque pintxos in Sitges. The place is almost always full, so I recommend making reservations. You walk in, select from a fantastic array of Basque tapas on the counter and they bring them to your table.
I picked the Gilda (skewered pickled chillies and olives which were a great way to tantalize the tastebuds), the Txangurro (spider crab served bruschetta-style), Bonito (a tuna and mayo bruschetta) and a pork belly pintxo.
We also ordered the tortilla with Codfish and prawn which was delicious and the helping size was enough for two as well. Everything we put in our mouths here was delicious; the only regret is not having any space left for dessert, so we recommend skipping the big plates and enjoying a bigger variety of the pintxos with a glass of vine (and some Basque cheesecake if they have it...
Read moreGreat place for what I guess you might call high end tapas / pinchos, a lot of it isn't served on bread so I don't really know if you'd call it pinchos, but it is ready to go behind the counter so you can go up and select what you want from the friendly and efficient guy serving. There are a few vegetarian options (tortilla, a couple of different cheese options cold, also hot cheese with herbs and tomato), not sure how many are vegan though at least one was (deep fried broccoli with a romesco sauce) Lots of attention to detail in terms of how the food is paired and presented. It does get very busy from 7pm on the dot when they open, if you want to sit inside you might be best to ask the day before to reserve, otherwise...
