I have been going to this restaurant for 11 years. My kids have literally grown up before the staff's eyes! Because of this, it always feels like I am eating at my other home. The staff are very warm and familiar. They greet us with warm hugs and kisses and inquire on our wellbeing. When my kids were small, they would be given colour pencils to draw on the paper placemat. They have great infant meal choices such as Macaroni (premixed sauce). There is a wide range of tapas of which I recommend my personal favourites :albóndigas, sevillanos, bravas, pimientos de padrón and pescaditos. For starters on a cold day, have the lentil soup to warm you up. The original female chef was kind enough to share her recipe so I can make it at home, when I am not able to eat there. The meat goulash with rice and grilled lamb are also very good. The wine menu is not so varied but you can enjoy a good Rioja or Ribera del Duero for an average of €12. Open kitchen, clean facilities and honest food, no frills. Also great location as it is right in the town square, a stones throw from the promenade and beach.
