RESTAURANT CAN MARTÍ DE SITGES — Restaurant in Sitges

Food was great, service was very attentive. The portion sizes are too big in my opinion, I have never said this before haha but I think a starter should be a starter size. We then struggled to enjoy the other food we ordered. Although that being said the portions matched the price, which isn’t cheap.

If the staff had said something about the portion sizes, that would have been helpful, but I think they maybe just want you to have to pay more? Or there was a language barrier?

We ordered - starter of prawns - 10/12 starter of snails - 20 maybe! starter of fried potatoes - 3 large handfuls beef tartar - a small mountain 500g veal steak - good and thick

extras that come with all that - 2 portions of chips, 8 small toasts, small peppers, a garlic sauce, 2 tablespoons of salted butter 2 glasses of wine

We then said to them we were too full to eat the steak, we were informed that we couldn’t have it removed (fair enough I guess) but it was then a very very large meal! It all came with extra chips and bread and sauces

Either way food was great, but would have loved to eat a varied selection, and had room for something sweet, that, by the way, looked incredible.

Nice complementary cake and drink at the end and you definitely get your moneys worth! But be cautious not to order too much, larger portions than standard for sure

We are a bit difficult for the food and the service in general. I know this restaurant for some years and we came back recently, twice. The service (particularly with the amazing Maria and Marti himself) was fantastic. Please keep this as it makes a huge difference. As for the paella, it is BY FAR the best from Sitges. go on thursdays as it can be part of the menu. Really good. Well, at least, it corresponded to my taste. Really, really. I think that I saw many locals there and I understand why. I understand that the restaurants belongs to Marti and his brother in the kitchen. Visited the restaurant for a family lunch and I have the following remarks: The restaurant atmosphere and decor is very nice and showcasing the local vibe and traditions. the service was very good, punctual and well thought. the food, from starters to dessert was generally good and tasty. However i ordered the steak medium done and it arrived almost raw. That's really a no go for an expensive 30 euro steak. the prices are really high, coming from France. at peak time the restaurant becomes very very noisy!
