La Tapadera — Restaurant in Sitges

By the look it is not the traditional spanish restaurant where you would eat tapas-but this is only by the look.Please enter and talk with the waiter before ordering as they will give you the best advice what to eat.We have tried some brie salat which was excellent and three traditional tapas;potatos with majonaise sauce,octopus slices with smoked paprika on top baked in the oven probably and something with ham ,small and fried .For drinks we had some local estrella draft bear and desert was not local as they do not serve local ones,but the one they have served;passion fruit,ice cream and chocolate was extra,the second one was with chia, blueberry's and beautiful coconat foam which circuled everything on top.Tapas are "half meal"portion's but as they are meant to be shared take three or four if you are hungry and if you are two.Value for money-YES . The best meal we had at Sitges! It’s a must visit from us!! Every dish we had was fantastic and the service was great! Such good music that I asked for the Spotify playlist so I could play it at home. I like a quiet atmosphere and this place delivered!

It’s a small menu but clearly they put love and effort into each dish they serve. Affordable too!

We ordered the: -tempura shrimp starter - soft and crispy, perfectly salted! -edamame - the best I’ve ever had and I’m Japanese! The black salt or pepper that they put on was phenomenal! -Tuna tartar - probably the best I’ve ever had! Mixed with soy sauce and other spices and very beautifully presented! -Entrecôte - first time eating this and it was perfectly cooked with nice fat to add flavour to the meat. -The lamb - melted in your mouth! Cooked to perfection!
