TAST SITGES RESTAURANTE — Restaurant in Sitges

We haven't been to Tast for a long time and will not be going again. My husband had a vastly overpriced Dorada which at least was edible. My friend and I had burgers which came raw. The eggs on top were frizzled, there was no cheese, no tomato. I told the waiter I didnt want a replacement. I cut my burger open to show him. He took them back to the chef. He returned both burgers although I had specifically said I didn't want it back. He gave us the wrong plates. I told him I did not want mine. The chef came along and apologised saying the English always had meat well cooked although the Spanish did not. I eat steaks very rare but not Hamburgers. I do not like giving bad reviews but this was disgusting. I said i did not want it recooking. To bring a burger back with a soggy bread bun and limp lettuce and then to charge for it was incredible. The only thing i would recommend about this place is to avoid it. If that had happened in my bar, i would have been distraught, offered a replacement freshly cooked and certainly not charged for two...

Found this little place away from the bustle of Sitges and we were a little hesitant at first. Ordered the Sevillia style squid which was crispy and light despite being deep fried. The portion was generous and came with some refreshing alioli.

The ham and cheese croquetas were quite good, with the filling of a more smoother texture than one I've had elsewhere in Spain. For the other main we got the Grilled Sepia or the Grilled Codfish, which was cooked to perfection, was soft and flaky and came with a giant eggsalad and fries.

The meal was very reasonably priced and our server Faheem was very helpful with his time and suggestions. If you're bringing along a lot of friends, would definitely be a good place to have...

We stayed in Barcelona for a week and tried different restaurants every day. At the end of the trip there were four restaurants that stood out in terms of the food, the flavors and just the overall vibe and service. So I decided to put in a word about them on Google so more people can benefit from our experience.

During our day trip to Sitges, we tried three different Tapas restaurants. We ordered octopus and squid at Tast Sitges. That was the best seafood meal during our trip!! Simple flavors (grilled) and yet so delectable! When locals hang out at a restaurant, you know it has to be worth eating at. Tast Sitges did not disappoint..
