I had the most wonderful experience at Antonio Restaurante during my visit to Lanzarote. We chose this place mainly because it was conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel, and little did we know that we were about to embark on an unforgettable culinary journey.
From the moment we stepped inside, Antonio and his staff went above and beyond. Their genuine care and attentiveness made us feel truly valued as customers. Antonio personally guided us through the chef's specials and the menu, sharing his expertise and recommendations with enthusiasm. They speak both Spanish and English.
The food itself was absolutely incredible. We decided to try the steak chips and seafood risotto, and we were blown away by the exquisite flavors and presentation.
The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the seafood risotto was a delightful blend of fresh ingredients and harmonious tastes.
To complement our meal, we indulged in some refreshing sangria, which perfectly complemented the vibrant flavors of our dishes. And when it came to dessert, we were treated to a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The beautifully crafted sweet treat was as delicious as it was visually stunning.
The atmosphere of the restaurant added an extra layer of charm and romance to our evening. The ambiance was the perfect setting for a memorable and intimate dining experience.
The combination of impeccable service, outstanding food, and an alluring atmosphere makes it an absolute gem. I highly recommend Antonio Restaurante to anyone looking for a truly remarkable dining experience in Lanzarote, Puerta del Carmen.
Thank you...
Read moreWhat an amazing meal, best we had while on the island, I can see why Antonio’s has such a high reputation.
They managed to fit us in despite it being very busy and then nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly giving advice on menu items and a great description of the specials available.
We had a wonderful bottle of local rose wine (Masdache) it wasn’t the most expensive on the menu but tasted great and went down a little too well so on their bottle was ordered.
Complimentary glasses of Cava and amuse bouche were presented while we browsed the menu with so many good looking options choosing was very hard.
Starters were wonderful, I had the Broken Eggs and my wife the Tune Tartar and to follow I chose the medallions of beef with prawns and my wife the sole stuffed with prawns.
Unfortunately a mix up meant I was served sirloin steak but they quickly sorted the order out and the meat was cooked to perfection.
We declined dessert as we had eaten too much so can’t comment on the selection.
A nice complimentary Honey Rum finished the evening.

Read moreMy wife and I came here on a recommendation from family, but unfortunately, we came away very disappointed.
Firstly, my filet mignon was massively overcooked - I asked for medium but the steak came back completely brown on the inside, and chewy.
Secondly, the portion sizes are VERY small. The scallops starter was six tiny bites, which isn't too bad, but my steak came with literally just 5 small pieces of vegetable (one carrot, one broccoli, one potato, and a few others). It said it had bacon in it, but it turned out to be just a few tiny pieces of bacon in the sauce, and the steaks were also quite small.
I came out of the restaurant, having eaten a three course meal with a bread roll, and was still hungry. And the food was definitely on the expensive side, a double whammy.
Finally, the food took a long time to be served. We were waiting a while between courses, especially for the main course, which must have taken over 30 minutes (even though we were told only 10 minutes by the waiter). We were at the restaurant for 1hr 10 mins before we received our mains, and not because we ate the...
