Let's be honest for a while: this place is quite overrated! You may have the impression to arrive to a shiny place in St Barth', but the rest is simply not up to what we can read here or on the menu... except maybe for tasteless bling tourists? The place is beautifully decorated, lightened (especially with the swimming pool) and so forth: it's its main asset. You don't expect however this kind of welcome and service for the rest or for this kind of establishment: a few guys in trendy summer suits and ear pods (=bad sign) run everywhere but certainly not for efficiency purposes... the service is too long (tonight only one waiter/ barman was coming to us, while you had to catch the others, just to order - we waited 30min for that... the same (almost, 15min), for the note at the end). The menu(s), translated in 4 languages, look fine and very original, but all the bling description elements are not following in your plates, unfortunately. The starters were good, but incredibly hot! I mean, we had excellent homemade croquetas in a local steakhouse the day before without having to burn our mouth at the same time... I wouldn't expect that in such a fancy restaurant. I'm still waiting for the black potatoes with my "waffle" fish filet (it was just a simple filet), while the peas burger tasted really like minced beef (very good but almost suspicious...). Now the desserts: bling again, a cheese cake equivalent to only cream (had far better before, again), my "royale 🇬🇧 or 🇫🇷 trianon" (original with avocado and thyme) was only cream too in a glass (good but nothing fancy again, to be honest)... All in all, disappointing, except for the price, that wasn't so high at the end, phew! Last anecdocte: the wine - I was very gladly surprised to see that they served local (Lanzarote) red wine by the glass, so I jumped on the occasion!... They brought unfortunately twice a bottle of Duero. Nice, but not to the point... Again, what's the purpose to oversell things you can't afford to serve? It well summarizes the bling bluff marketed there... overrated, as I said and at the end,...

Was denn nun?

The place looks very nice, but the experience was horrible, to begin with after being seat at the table we had to wait for a wile until someone come go great us, then we ordered a cocktail to start, the food arrived first the cocktails at list 15’ later, I ordered a pisco sour ,they brought me a caipirinha in a cuppete glass to pretend was a pisco sour, would be so easy just to said we don’t have pisco sour and then I’ll choose something else, the meat on the main course ( supposed be a premium meat from Vasc ) was tough and with strong flavour, we didn’t eat it , then the tables start to leave and no one else come to our table anymore, no one offered us deserts, we have to go and ask someone to come to take desert order. Is a shame that such a nice place can’t provide service up to the standards of the venue. By the way thy charged me for the meat I send back, of curse I complain and they up removing from the bill but the manager blaming us in front of other customers by saying the meat was ok. The customers next to us said they also had a...

Visited on the 24/07/23 with a group of 10. Incredible place, food and service! As a group we ordered a variety of dishes and neither did disappoint. We ordered a grilled octopus for starter to share, a rice rolls with veg and meat to share and it was incredible. For main I have ordered a calamar cooked in 3 different ways, fried, calamar tagliatelle with cooked calmar in ink sauce. My partner ordered waygu beef 🥩 and it was incredible. Perfection. Our friends ordered a pasta with seafood and it was also super good. Others ordered salmon 🍣. Everything was spot on. The deserts were also delicious 😋 I ordered the “masterchef” desert of mouse from coconut with tiny apples and it was amazing and light and not too sweet. Plus I got a complimentary birthday desert - chocolate brownie with marzipan. We were 10 and it was still very quiet he way the place is designed you feel each sofas/table is private and quiet. The price was obviously equivalent to the food and service and place quality, eliminating the mass tourists thankfully. But still not crazy expensive for what it offers. It’s a lounge where you can also spend a day and swim. We can highly recommend it!

Probably the friendliest, most helpful service I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing at a restaurant! We went to Arenas Lounge every night for a whole week as part of our stay at Alondras Villas. While the quality of the food varied each night, sometimes amazing and sometimes only OK, the quality of the service never faltered. Yosdani (I do hope I spelled it right) was a godsend, always cheerful and extremely helpful in ensuring our gluten free eating family member was well catered to. Not once did she have a reaction to the food. Another shout out goes to Richard, who was always a delight! Highly recommended, especially for those with gluten allergy or Celiac.

Arenas Lounge was recommended to us by our hotel staff as a good place to have dinner and they weren't wrong. The most mind blowing experience I've ever had was here at Arenas. They brought out warm bread with a tray of salts and olive oil before the starters. Bread and salt? Yeah I was thinking the same thing. One of the salts which I believe the waiter said was volcanic salt, it tasted like eggs, it was so confusing but delicious at the same time. I think the volcanic egg salt thing made me feel adventurous because for my starter I picked the Honey Glazed Octopus and for my main Pigeon Risotto. Both were absolutely delicious.
