Aussie's Beach Bar — Restaurant in Tías

While we were having breakfast, we met a lovely couple who highly recommended Aussies Bar, saying they make the best breakfast. We have been coming to Lanzarote for years and often cycled past Aussies Bar without stopping, but based on their recommendation, we decided to give it a try for lunch—and we are so glad we did!

The service was fantastic; the guy who took our order was pleasant, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, which made for a very enjoyable experience. A special mention goes to the chips—they were chunky, definitely homemade, and tasted incredible.

We couldn’t believe how much we’d been missing out all this time by cycling past. Aussies Bar is truly a hidden gem, and we are so glad we stopped by. We will definitely be back tody for some homemade...

Over our 2 week holiday we have been to Aussie’s multiple times. Its placement so close to the beach in Matagorda and being directly off the strip makes it an ideal pitstop for food or drink if going for a walk or sunning yourself on the beach! The menu is simple but delicious food done correctly, something that is hard come by. A wide range of sandwiches, breakfasts, burgers and their delicious homemade fries with a homemade coleslaw that is to die for! The staff are a credit to the business and would make you want to come back, all of them extremely friendly and hospitable creating a great relaxed atmosphere. It is extremely obvious that everyone there takes pride in their work....

Female waitress was friendly but stressed. Male waiter was rude and made me feel uncomfortable when I had waited 45 minutes for breakfast and asked how long it was going to be. We will not be returning.

I asked for a strong decaf coffee with milk and it was like milk with hot water. Same waiter had told me I would have to have two pods in for a strong coffee. I guess he forgot. At that point I didn’t want to ask for a new coffee as he had already stared at me with a very dirty look when I’d asked him when my breakfast was coming and had explained nicely that we waited more than 45 minutes.
