Pizzería los Claveles — Restaurant in Tías

Over ten years I have been visiting Lanzarote, with my first born who is now in his 20’s, to my step kids who are both under 10’s. This pizzeria has consistently been a place we have visited together and enjoyed. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and make the little ones feel like eating here is more than just having a pizza. Forget Pizza Hutt or any of the other chains, this is a business who understands that having an experience as a family builds memories. Shockingly bad service from very stroppy waitress (owner?) Argumentative and bad customer skills. We nearly left as we were placing our order, I wished we had! Took a strop because we asked if we could swap a piece of bacon for an extra egg - told “well he can eat the bacon if you don’t want it!!” The breakfast was ok but as we were finishing a group of 5 arrived and the waitress snatched a table were had been using to add it onto another table for the group to sit at (despite another empty table at the other side of them) No asking, no explanation just snatched nastily and rudely. My favourite place to eat in Lanzarote! Extremely cheap prices and great food. The pizzas are excellent if you like a crispy thin crust, and the toppings go really well with it. I recommend the 1/2 roast chicken & chips, the most flavoursome dish on the menu & an incredibly reasonable price! I went here multiple times during my stay as the owner is incredibly kind and invested in her customers! She has a great memory & remembered the previous meals I had there!
