Restaurante La Marisma — Restaurant in Tías

I just ate lunch here with my mother. It was delicious from start to finish. We both had garlic prawns to start, and calamari and the fish special (hake) for mains. The waiter explained there was no sardines as he only buys them fresh and today they werent good enough to buy... exactly what you want your waiter to say about your food. The seafood was fresh, delicious, cooked to perfection and the sides and sauces were lovely... very good Canarian potatoes and fresh crisp salad. We finished with a lovely homemade Quesillo flan (delicious and not too sweet) and two very good cups of coffee. The restaurant itself feels very traditional and 'local' and provided a lovely place to sit. You are next to the road, but you don't even notice it because of the elevation, all you see is the beautiful sea and palm trees. Finally the service was perfect, friendly and attentive with a lovely banana liquer provided with the bill. If you are looking for proper, good Canarian 'typico' food I would highly recommend...

Hi we ate at this restaurant 2 times on our stay and enjoyed our meal both times but we decided to eat there tonight and we’re so unlucky to be attended by an elderly waiter that we had not met before. He took our order which was very straightforward but when our order arrived it was not what we asked for even though it was what my wife had ordered for both nights before. I said to the person that even though I would accept it as a dish my wife would not. 3 times that person returned to our table to try and force this meal on to us. The real annoying thing was that the meal menu had numbers and I tried to tell him that ours was number 55 but he kept insisting that 55 was what he said it was tonight. We had to eventually get up from our table and I sad we would pay and leave. If there is anything I can say to save our experience it is that’s waiter i dealt with leaving apologised and just charged for our wine and water even though we had just started both but fair enough. El personal fue extremadamente amable y atento, y me recibieron con una sonrisa cálida. Me explicaron el menú con detalle y me dieron recomendaciones sobre los platos más destacados. Fue un toque personal que realmente aprecié.

El menú en sí es una obra maestra culinaria centrada en los sabores del mar. Como amante de los mariscos, estaba emocionado por probar la amplia variedad de opciones que ofrecen. Empecé con unas gambas al ajillo, que estaban perfectamente cocinadas y llenas de sabor. Luego, probé la ensalada de pulpo, que estaba fresca y acompañada de una deliciosa vinagreta.

El plato principal fue una parrillada de mariscos, que resultó ser un verdadero festín para mis sentidos. Desde las jugosas langostas hasta los mejillones tiernos y sabrosos, cada bocado era una explosión de sabor que me transportaba directamente a la costa. Los mariscos estaban frescos y bien sazonados, y la presentación era impecable.

Acompañé mi comida con un vino blanco recomendado por el sommelier del restaurante, que complementaba a la perfección los sabores de los mariscos.

El servicio fue excepcional en todo momento. El personal estuvo pendiente de mis necesidades y se aseguraron de que mi experiencia fuera placentera de principio a fin.

En cuanto a la relación calidad-precio, definitivamente vale la pena cada centavo. La cantidad y calidad de los platos hacen que la experiencia sea más que satisfactoria.

En resumen, mi visita al Restaurante La Marisma superó todas mis expectativas. Desde la excelente comida hasta el ambiente relajante y el servicio excepcional, cada aspecto de mi experiencia fue memorable.
