Sabor Ahumado Grill — Restaurant in Tías

Well I have always said if the Spanish love it then it must be a good place to go. I Was recommended to go to Sabor Ahumado in Av de las playas by a family and said if you love meat then this is for you. So right they were. A great selection on the menu of starters and main courses to pick from and surprising was the the breakfast menu as well. Burgers are juicy and excellenty cooked and presented. smash burger was done to a london style with caramelised onions cheese and was so juicy and tasty.5* Pulled beef burger was juicy and well smoked meat.5* Chicken burger was a large piece of grilled chicken and need something else to elevate it spicy batter of sauce to go with. 3* Fresh hand made chips Spanish style with each burger tasted wonderful Nachos starter is a big portion so have to share or as a main. Went at lunch time on a Sunday as was busy with the locals for tapas and meaty burger a must go too spot....

A hidden gem! This is a fabulous restaurant specialising in steaks and smoked meats. In Los Pocillos near Eurospar. It has atmosphere, ambience and great food! We had the Ribeye 1kg that they sear and then put on your table with a hot gas plate for you to finish cooking yourself. Perfect if you and your partner prefer a different choice of finish. We chose pepper sauce to go with it but it comes with homemade chips and grilled vegetables in the price. It was perfect. We live here, have eaten in other restaurants that offer the same experience with the meats but to us this was much much better. You have to try it. Decided to try a few things, one being the pulled pork french fries, pulled pork was minimal with at most 2 mouthfuls of dry tastless pork, chips drenched in a horrible fake cheese sauce, onion and jalapeños were the main part of this dish and they weren't french fries. Other dishes were ok but not much better. Ants all over the table. Service was simple nothing special, nothing bad, food in general was disappointing, for the prices you pay you'd expect fresh food but didn't seem to be fresh or of any high quality, reheated/recooked Waited for the bathroom for a long time as the 3 people in front all had upset stomachs...
