Fisherman's Inn — Restaurant in Teguise

Tourist trap bmo. The worse meal I've had in Lanzarote. All sea food tasted like was cooked from frozen and texture was rubbery. Service was good, very friendly but we were unlucky to have very unfriendly old people/customers who made a comment that we're too loud while we were having a normal conversation with a nice couple on the table next to us..that just ruined the whole atmosphere. In general, very unpleasant experience. Really sorry to say About the food also to add nothing tasted fresh on my plate so if you end up in this place only order the fish of the day, we didn't. We left full plates hardly touched. The intestines of the prawns were not cleaned which is absolutely unacceptable. The wine glasses smelled like dishwasher chemicals....

Fisherman's Inn, what can I say, might not look like a fancy restaurant, but hey, the food is 5*, been here 3 times this week as food was totally amazing first time so carried on coming. The place is full of regulars so booking is a must. The chef cooks Steak cooked to perfection, pork chops plentiful, and the fish dishes are a work of art. Staff, Abdul is friendly and welcoming, friendly, amazing, working hard, remembering customers even if passing, he shouts hi, so friendly and welcoming thank you for making our lovely meals over the past few days 😊 oh the deserts a must, banana flambé, banana splits and apple pie out of this world. I haven't felt welcomed there. I was alone and looking for a fish meal for my fist evening as a mama of 10 month old on vacation away from my family. I was told that there is no table for me that evening and when I wanted to reserve one for Monday I was just told that Monday they are closed but not offering me to book for Tuesday or inciting me to try to come on Tuesday. Maybe all is true. But I definitely was interested in them more then they were interested in me. Not the type of experience I wanted. Won't come back. Can judge the food though. Probably it...
