Kitty’s — Restaurant in Teguise

So after seeing many reviews of Kitty's and hearing positive things about it myself and my partner decided to give it a go and as I do honest reviews it was in our experience not as others had said food wise. We ordered a roast dinner each and when it came to the table it did look good as you can see in the photo provided however, First the meal was not very hot even though the plate was, the meat was chewy, all the vegetables were next to raw and the entire plate of food was extremely bland . The Yorkshire puddings were slightly burnt so it didn't give them a very good taste and they were soggy inside. The roast potatoes were good but unfortunately to top the meal off as a disappointment the gravy was watery and cold . Given I am a reviewer I do not ask for food to be heated back up or for more to be cooked it is the eateries to get these right in the first place. However I am reviewing the food here and not the place as it is really nice and the staff are excellent and the prices were very reasonable it was just a shame our experience of the food...

Having recently been to Costa Teguise (October 23) we was recommend to visit Kittys to take in the entertainment and food/drink. We was not disappointed at all with the service we got from Claire, Lee and staff. Breakfast are on another level, which is why we came back each morning. Service from everyone is what you expect, friendly banter and engaging. We was lucky enough to be over when the new menus was starting out so was rude not to try the Lasagne...WOW flavours was unbelievable!! We also tried out the Sunday roast and again we wasn't disappointed, what we needed with a hangover. We also took part in the Bingo and the whole place was packed out with friendly people enjoying the entertainment. I can't recommend this place enough. Next door is a ice-cream/ Milkshake parlour part of Kittys which was to die for! Little boy was in his element with the ice cream and once again...

We walked there looking forward to cocktails and stood by the entrance as the woman who worked there was seeing to other customers. The woman then asked if she could help us? But in a way that we were doing something wrong for waiting there. Then when we asked if we could have a seat in the shade as we noticed she was putting an umbrella up for someone else’s table, she replied with a no as we would be disturbing another woman who is sunbathing?!? So it must be one rule for one and one rule for another. We then sat for 60 seconds on a little table shoved by the wall and decided we did not want to stay. This was very disappointing as we have been reading really positive reviews about kitty’s for months before coming to CT and this is not the type of first impression we were expecting. We walked out of our way to especially try this place....
