Pablo's Restaurante — Restaurant in Teguise

a resident in costa teguise and also a tour guide i have recomended many tourist to go and eat here . Its also not my first time visiting the restaurant. I also know the owner a very nice respectful and hard working man Pablo.

My experience today was at entering with a friend greeted the waiter at the entrance saying "hello mate " in Spanish to which he responded " I dont know him , am not his friend , to have abit of respect and call him by his name", I felt very attacked and offended and also embarrassed that I brought someone there so automatically turned around and left .

This isn't the first time also got similar treat with my mother. So only would like to point out that here there are waiters that are very rude that think that can talk and treat however they want to customers and get away with it. This waiters Name was Suso, and he shouldn't be at the front of the restaurant but at the back washing dishes until he learns the concept of customer service and avoid giving bad name to the owner, Pablo, and the restaurant.

Soy residente en Costa Teguise , no es la primera vez que visito el restaurante o envio a gente por el buen trato que tengo con Pablo, pero la atencion al cliente que dan algunos camareros es vergonzoso

Esta noche he entrado con un amigo he y he saludado diciendo "hola tio, que tal" al chico que nos recibio en la entrada , su respuesta fue " me conoces? Se mas respetuoso no me conoces de nada me llamas Suso si quieres" , nosotros nos sentimos ofendidos y salimos directamente del restaurante, esto no es la primera que se me trata mal en el restaurante la ultima vez fue con mi madre es decir nadie se puede fiar del personal para recomendar a conocidos y porque el dueño es muy amable, si me tratan mal a mi lo harán con todos las personas , a no ser que algunos camareros juzgan la gente como ellos quieren y Dan el trato que quieren.

No me parece nada respetuoso ni educado tratar a un cliente así da igual de donde viene el cliente, todos...

If you are thinking of coming to this ‘Italian’ restaurante , carry on walking .When we walked in we had to wait around 7 minutes before we finally got asked if we wanted any drinks , which may I add to this the staff were also extremely rude . The menu looked like it had lots to offer , with all the food sounding like it was real hearty Italian food . We decided to get the chicken kebab , the spaghetti cabañera and the ham and pineapple pizza . The food came and it was absolutely appalling for the price the food was . The chicken on the kebab was horrible, chewy chicken which seemed like it had came straight from a freezer and the colour of the chicken was grey ; to add to this the chicken had not been marinated nor had any spices and it was absolutely horrendous. The meal was served with half frozen freezer chips and some ‘vegetables’ which were soggy carrots . The meal was served with peppercorn sauce ? When we asked to take it back the staff were rude and snatched the plate out of there hand and the staff member sighed and huffed as he was walking away with the plate . The pizza was raw on the inside and the toppings hadn’t even been cooked and had been just thrown carelessly on the top of the pizza once it had been cooked . The pizzas toppings and cheese were falling off the pizza and it was extremely undercooked . The spaghetti carbonara was ok , but yet again was not worth it for the price . We had also ordered a garlic bread which was just a pice of bread with cheese on top . The food was horrible . We asked for the bill and the price was appalling . The best part is yet coming as when we were walking off one of the staff members laughed at us and shook his head , when we looked around he carried on laughing at us as we walked off . The experience was terrible and never in my life would I recommend or go back to this so called Italian restaurant again . I hope this helped if you were thinking...

Feel bad in one way leaving a review of only 2 stars, but following my experience the other day, I would struggle to score higher. To be totally fair, we have ate here on a number of occasions and always had good food with no complaint. However, we had our final lunch before returning home at Pablos, ordering the half chicken and the mixed paella. The paella was once again very nice, but the chicken and chips were barely warm, with the vegtables being totally cold. My guess was that the chicken had been left out whilst waiting for the paella to be cooked. Not wanting to make a big deal of it, I asked if they had a microwave to heat my meal up. I can only presume there was a break down in communications as they took my meal and didn't bring it back. When I then asked about my meal they then brought it back packaged in a bag. I again explained that I had just wanted it heating up, which appears to have been finally understood by another member of staff, resulting in finally receiving my heated up meal, well after everybody else had finished eating. I received no apology for the mix up and subsequently was given the bill in full. I asked if they would consider some reduction due to our experience, at which point the member of staff become hostile and was shouting that we should pay in full. I gave him 50 euros of a 55 euro bill, which I did not feel was unreasonable in the circumstances, but his response was to continue to shout and his attitude was disgraceful.
