The worse server experience I have had in years! I have a friend that is vegetarian an’s mild mannered she politely asked the server of she could have only cheese croquets he proceeded to say “sure but why?” And she proceeded to say she is vegetarian and on a patronising attitude and tone told her why is she eating cheese of she’s vegetarian? Confused we said that’s vegan she can ear cheese and he proceeded to explain why “rallado de queso” is not vegetarian leaving aside that he was very loud and confidently wrong… he seemed like those people that get angry because you are not like them and he needs you, your mom an’s your dog to know about it and feel as bad as him. He didn’t even bring the check, an’s had an attitude for no reason the entire meal he didn’t even answer other questions about food it was truly...

Not recommended at all. My friends and I visited the restaurant at 12.30 and the (rude) waitress didn't let us order from the brunch catalog which was supposed to be available until 13.00 because "her boss told her so". Despite our disappointment we decided to stay and order from the main menu. Ten minutes later, one of us went to the bathroom where she saw another waitress not washing her hands after using the toilet. When we reported the incident they wondered why this bothered us. Obviously we cancelled the order and left. Basic hygiene rules don't go without saying in this place. After all probably the name "la pepa" refers to the well known...

My wife and I are from Taiwan, and we had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant on August 27th. The oxtail dish here is truly the best we’ve ever tasted. We spent three weeks traveling across Spain and tried oxtail in many different places, but none came close to this one. The texture was perfect—tender yet firm—and the fatty parts were especially impressive: flavorful, aromatic, and never greasy.
