I went there when I was in tour, When I was seated the waiter came to my table threw the menu and asked me to what to drink immediately without giving me a chance to look at the menu, then when I was ready to order my meal he had me waiting for 10 minutes before he came back. Then I had to wait for another 30 minutes to get my order of crispy chicken sandwich I was observing while waiting for my meal, basically the waiters there are very rude and need to learn more customers service and manners, I saw one waitress arguing with a family who wanted to sit on another table that was empty, and she was yelling in Spanish at an English speaking elderly family who sat themselves on a table and asking them to go wait in line first before they can sit, when there was actually no waiting line. Another elderly lady asked other waiter to charge her table to one under the shade and he said ok, the the same waitress came back at her and told her she couldn’t do that and leave her table and started arguing with her till the other waiter came and grabbed her telling her it okay. As for my waiter he made me wait another 10 minutes to get me my check and talked to me very rudely to come inside to pay with the machine. One last thing the WC was out of soap!?. Too bad the food was good the service...

We went to this restaurant on the first night of a Spain trip and found the food to be delicious!! The waiter was so friendly and joked around with us at our attempts to speak Spanish and he even helped us order a good sampling of tapas. Returned there this week, so excited to take my sister and friend there and they were so unfriendly and rude, we left feeling very dejected. We waited patiently at the “wait to be seated sign” for 10 minutes while the patio waitress ignored us and I finally asked for one of the open tables and she barely acknowledged me. She turned away and then turned around and rattled something in Spanish. I asked her (in Spanish) to please slow down bc my Spanish isn’t very good and she rolled her eyes, rattled something again, pointed back to the please wait sign and walked away. The sign said “go inside for inside table” so after a few more minutes we decided to try this. The woman in there was even worse! I understand tourists are frustrating and often obnoxious but you serve in a tourist town! Be nice to people who are nice in return and just want to eat at your restaurant and are at least trying to speak Spanish. So disappointed!! It was my little boys favorite restaurant of our trip and he was so sad to hear I didn’t get to take my...

Stopped here for lunch on a Toledo Day trip from Madrid. Guide recommended the place.

1st of all- the vibe! You feel it as soon as you walk into the restaurant!

It was 4 of us and we got a hightop table by the bar. Service was promt. Got there around 12 noon and were given a small breakfast menu & told it ended at 12:30pm. We quickly ordered some pulgas (sandwiches) and local draft beers.

The complimentary tapa was excellent! The pulgas were very tasty as well. You actually can get coffee, juice or a small beer if you order the "desayuno" off the menu so we ended up with a small beer as well.

As we were still after breakfast was over, I saw the server handing same type of small menus to the new patrons listing the items they could order. I truly loved that! Seems to make the kitchen run more efficiently as you had a handful of items that you can order for bkfst or lunch.

Lastly, as I walked to the bathroom, I noticed the floor and I was amazed to see Roman ruins underneath!! That is so neat! Definitely something I didn't expect but gives the restaurant even another reason to visit.

Highly recommend! I would for sure stop by again if I'm...

This is 'The Bomb' You might wonder whether a potato with minced meat and tomato sauce is even worth trying, let alone whether it could be a restaurant's signature dish. So I was skeptical about trying a 'Bomba'. But I wasn't disappointed. To call this just a potato with minced meat and tomato sauce would be an insult. A lot of thought has gone into this dish; the flavors are balanced and the texture keeps it interesting. I think the potato is fried because it is crispy on the outside, but there is definitely no fried taste. The filling is flavorful. I also had the salmorejo. This cold tomato soup (I'm not sure if it contained red pepper) can only be successful if you have the perfect ingredients in the right proportions. And that was the case. Based on these two dishes, the five stars are well deserved.

We went to El Trevor restaurant and had an amazing experience. Our waiter Darwin was the best, excellent service, fast like an eagle, and very attentive. The food and drinks came right away with almost no waiting. Everything was well served, the prices were incredible, and the quality was outstanding. The beers brewed in-house are excellent, we tried both the IPA and the Ale, and they were fantastic. From the menu, La Bomba is a must-try, full of flavor and highly recommended. The tapas selection is also great, with very good prices and amazing taste. And don’t miss the tinto de verano with lemon foam, it’s refreshing and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. Without a doubt, we’ll come back whenever we’re in Toledo. Truly a great experience, especially the food, drinks, and service!
