Restaurante Pizza Alla Pala — Restaurant in Torremolinos

As others have already said - EXTREMELY RUDE! This week we tried to go there twice. First time, I have ordered sauce with the pizza - I got "where are you from? our clients would not order a sauce in order to enjoy the flavours of the pizza, that's way we don't have sauces, it is not a Spanish restaurant". Ok. During the evening, she tried to speak in a bad manner about the sauce again. We thought she is just having a bad day, which is normal for everyone. Food was good. I left her a tip because of the food and because I thought she had a bad day.

Tried to visit again. About 9PM, Thursday/November: 3 tables outside. The lady was serving other customers and we tried to sit in one of the available free tables. She started SHOUTING on us in front of everyone in spanish, then in Italian, then she came and she started asking me in Spanish if I do understand what she is talking, because I didn't reply to her and just sitting shocked of her behaviour, watching how far she can go. We have just tried to sit without saying A WORD OTHER THAN GOOD EVENING. She was screaming non stop why we are sitting there, do we have a reservation (do we need one?! It is NOT mentioned ANYWHERE; but I don't care anymore, anyway), do we know that they are serving a "manual made pizza" (very arrogant!!). We came for the pasta, but she has never got the opportunity to know that, instead she continued with her episode - "if you order pizza - you will wait, you will also wait to take your order" and so on, and so on. This was in front of EVERYONE there and lasted over a minute in which time we didn't say A WORD.

We left.

CYNICAL rudeness! And NO she is not having a bad day, she is just sour, VERY sour, Karen.

The risk to be HUMULIATED there is huge, based on the reviews about her rudness. If you want to get served a dose of humiliation for a dinner and pay...

We decided to give this place a try after hearing recommendations from several people in the neighborhood.

Even though the pizzas were amazing and deserve 5 stars, I cannot say the same about the service at all.

Even though we had reserved online using the website, our reservation was not found - however, the ladies handled this swiftly and we were seated, which is fine.

Once we ordered 2 pizzas (1 half pepperoni + 1 half funghi), we had to wait 45 minues until both pizzas arrived. Once we ordered the bill, we had to wait 30 minutes which was again too long.

We are willing to give it another try just for the sake of the food - however, if the same experience should be the case, we will not...

Un avis assez mitigé.

Une très bonne pizza avec une pâte croustillante et de qualité faite pour le jour même.

Par ailleurs, une commande pressé et un service lent. La serveuse est arrivée au bout de deux minute,pas le temps de réfléchir et les pizza, elles sont arrivés après au moins 30 min et pas en même temps.

Nous avons été placé dans un coin assez reculé dans la rue du restaurant qui était assez peu illuminé.

Lors de notre commande, en tant que bon mangeur, nous demandons la taille de la pizza, la serveuse nous dit alors que la quantité est conséquente et qu'une pala est faite pour deux. Résultat 3 pizza pour 5, non suffisant. Au moment, d en recommander d autre,non par gourmandise mais par appétit, la propriétaire nous dit gentillement qu il n y a plus de pâte. Nous avions pourtant réservé dans la journée et étions venu pour manger chacun une pizza.

Si on va dans ce restaurant, ce n' est donc pas que pour manger des pizza mais aussi goûter aux autres propositions de la carte.

Pour le prix, une très bonne pizza, une bonne qualité, une quantité "moyenne", service plus ou moins...
