FIRSTLY very welcoming staff. I am extremely fussy with my food and drinks. I was very impressed with this restaurant and a bit frustrated that I didn't find it sooner. I am a huge pizza lover and this was ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED. I only ordered a basic cheese and tomato which they made perfect! There are a lot of so called pizza places in torremolinos but honestly do not waste your time I sampled almost 8 different types (because of my love for pizza) through my stay and this was massively ahead from the rest. The chef also came out to check if the pizza was ok which I did not get from any of the 8 restaurants I visited. The drinks were poured correctly considering this is the first place that understood how to serve a drink 'neat'. I can say this meal made my holiday. NOW for the controversial bit, there is a steak house opposite which although seems busy dose not compare any where near to what I would expect from food quality. Having eaten at 'little Italy steak house' the atmosphere was great but the food did not compare anywhere near in comparison. I must stress this is a unbiased review of which neither restaurant owners is aware of the feedback I'm providing. THE ONLY REASON I state this is that when we were first deciding where to eat and were really struggling between the two we were drawn in by 'little Italy' because of the decor. However if you are looking for something AUTHENTIC, pizz&canto is definitely worth a visit. P.S great measures on the rum!

Ok I've been in Torremolinos for 2 weeks now. I thought I'd been in this restaurant 3 times over that period but was shocked to find it's actually been 3 nights on the run including tonight. Three nights of gorgeous food. Fabulous service from the owners (forgive me if the names are wrong) Fabricio and Gemma. Italian through and through. Also their lovely waitresses Elita and Zoe. Despite opposition from the obvious Italian eaterie opposite this is a true Italian food experience. The man in front of the 80 year old pizza oven deserves a special mention too. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. First night I had the Pizza Arabitoco. Maybe wrong spelling. Anyway it was fabulous with a bottle of house red. Second time I had the special pizza. It was huge! Tonight I had spicy calamari. The sauce to die for. Then I had the same Arabitoco pizza from the other night (I'm sure my spelling of it is wrong). Anyway. 3 nights of my taste buds being delighted and all the staff are very very nice. 100% recommended from me.

So disappointing, would definitely not recommend. (06/10/25) Starter: Prawns PilPil, €13.50 for 6 frozen prawns (we had eaten 2 before I took the photo)...€2 per cold prawn (the plate was warm but food cold).....these were not fresh prawns by any means. Mains: Lasagne which was just a bowl of burnt cheese with a thick layer of oil on top. Spaghetti Arribiata was served hot and very tasty. The food took a long time to come...we drank 3/4 bottle of wine before the starter came, and noticed other people waiting too. Then the arguing between staff, shouting at each other when weaving in and out of tables. The tall 'waiter' appeared under the influence, he was drinking from a pint on the serving shelf and eating something with his hands then serving people. He was rushing about a bit disoriented, it was not a pleasant experience. Two stars are for the Spaghetti Arribiata otherwise it would be one.

Excellente pizza !
