Visited 11/8/25. Very nice and modern inside. Complementary popcorn for my 6 year older daughter was nice. Came to order food and I have a nut allergy so asked if my meal could be made with no nuts the waiter repeated back no nuts and wrote it down. When the meal came I had a tiny taste and instantly tasted nuts, I could feel an allergic reaction coming. I called the waiter and explained he said there’s no nuts and I told him there is I have an allergic reaction, he took the food away so assumed they were making another dish, the whole time no apology or concern for my health. I then had to rush to the toilet to be sick. The waiter then came back with the same meal and said the kitchen has said there is no nuts, I reiterated there definitely is or I wouldn’t have a reaction. He then took the meal away again and didn’t say anything so naturally assumed they were sorting something for me. 20 minutes goes by nothing gets said to me and no food. By which point my family had finished eating and my 2 year old was getting restless. I asked for the bill. I had to asked for my rice to be taken off the bill that I hadn’t eaten as I had no meal to eat it with. Still NO APOLOGY, no concern for my well-being. So all in all very poor service and wouldn’t recommended. Hopefully nobody else with an allergy experiences this and suffers worse...
Read moreHonestly, you do not come to Spain to eat Indian cuisine, BUT, sometimes you want a little something something.. and this IS the place. I have had Indian cuisine in the states, in the UK and France first time in Spain, and it did NOT dissapoint. The food, the atmosphere, ambience, service , all were spectacular. Ordered the Tapas Masala just to give it a try and it was very good. The papadoms are to die for, absolutely delicious. I was not impressed by the lamb (extremely dry), but everything else was great. Then we ordered the Puri jalpar, absolutely excellent. The flavors, the level of spice, the savory of the dish.. I was in heaven. My counterpart ordered the lamb Seekh Kebab. He was ok with it, but nit great. Bery dry and its more like a minced up lamb meat as opposed to lamb meat chunks on a skewer as we all tend to expect. It was not bad, just extremely dry, it was quite dissapointing. The Raita and garlic Naan were superb. The location is optimal because you have sea views, its right off the promenade, close to Playa del Cura and near the Marina. They offer nightly specials. If you want savory, tasty, different, spicy, amazing... this IS it. Would I come back?...
Read moreI had a meal last night at Masala Street Kitchen. Atmosphere- The ambiance is great and took a seat by window and enjoyed the view. I expected the staff to be friendlier (being an Indian restaurant ) but they all looked sad and hardly making conversation with any of the customers.
Food- I ordered two items for starters: samosa chaat & jalpuri and they were delicious but for the mains : nizami roll (very average and soggy) and masala dosa (which was not authentic but tasted good). Overall food was good (being indian in torrevieja, this is probably one of my good options)
Price wise it was bit higher but I guess it’s also for the location.
I will definitely go back again for the chaat but will avoid eating...
