We went to Bombay Aroma due to its high reviews and was curious about its near perfect score. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we stood outside looking the menu over and deciding what we would like, we were soon greeted by a member of staff who explained the options to us. And we soon walked in to make our order. The service was incredibly friendly and flexible to our requests - since we were having a takeaway they allowed us to change our desert for naan which was perfect for me and my partner. The takeaway from point of ordering took less than 10 minutes to prepare which was amazing considering they were due to close within 30 minutes of us arriving. We happily paid our bill for a 39.95 menu for two. However, upon leaving we were prompted by a member of staff whom requested that we "please leave a good review as we would like to get 5 stars". I said I will leave a review - however it's all down to the food now. So far, so good. We got home and opened up our takeaway to find that we were missing an item. Promptly called up the restaurant to inform them. They apologized profusely and sent out an item after hours (pushing what would have been a 3* to a 4* for customer service). The thing that would have made this a 5* would have been if they included the complimentary bottle of wine with orders above 30 euros (which our was). We had the bottle of wine included from the menu, but not the bottle of wine included with the takeaway. Outside of that, the food was perfect. And minor slip-ups can happen. To anyone reading this, make sure you get your wine. This is the review that was requested by the restaurant. My own suggestion is - please do not ask for a good review because people will give it, if it's deserved. Simply asking for a review instead specifically a -good review-. Changes the mindset of the person making it. Because otherwise it can feel forced and off putting. For example: "Please leave us a review and us know what we can improve as we want to provide the best service possible" Thank you for a delicious dinner, just be mindful on how you ask for a review.

From the moment we stepped into Bombay Aroma, the universe seemed to align perfectly for an unparalleled dining experience. Valencia may be known for its rich Spanish heritage, but this gem offers an authentic Sindhi escapade that's truly unparalleled. It's rare to find a place where the warmth of the staff rivals the warmth of the spices. The team at Bombay Aroma exudes genuine hospitality, making us feel not just as customers, but as a part of their extended family. Each dish was a symphony of flavors, echoing the rich history and tradition of the Sindhi community. But what truly sets Bombay Aroma apart is its people. Every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles, making our experience all the more memorable. Their commitment to not just serving food, but curating an experience, is evident in every gesture and every plate. In an age where restaurants often compromise authenticity for commercial appeal, Bombay Aroma stands tall, offering a culinary journey that's as heartfelt as it is delicious. In the vast constellation of Valencia's dining scene, Bombay Aroma shines the brightest. Highly recommended for those seeking not just a meal, but a memory. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Decent food, but ripoff culture by the owner. They don't offer free tap water which is ILLEGAL. The food here is decent, not the best. But since Valencia doesn't have a lot of good Indian restaurants, this can be an option. I tried their mix veg curry and baingan masala, which were 3/5. The employees seemed courteous and the service was good, but they don't offer their clients free tap water, even if you request it. They made me put my water bottle away because they said they don't allow outside food or water, which is fair. But when I asked for tap water, they said they're not allowed to offer free tap water, and the only option is to buy their expensive bottled water. THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW in Spain. I hope the restaurant owner realizes this. So if you visit this restaurant, you may ask for free tap water and they SHOULD provide it to you. Don't be fooled by what the owner forces their employees to tell the customers.

Naturally, as a Brit, my first important mission in any new city is to locate a reliable and good Indian food delivery service. This place exceeds my standards! Outstanding food, outstanding service, reasonable price. I wish I had found it sooner!

Many people have a standard "test dish" which they use to judge a restaurant (you know the dish well and so know if their food is more spicy or less spicy and how well the chef does the sauces). For Indian food, my test dish is Murg Rogan Josh. It's medium spicy (so if I'm in Spain I expect it to be mild and if I am in County Durham I expect it to burn a bit, like a Vindaloo in East Anglia). The tomato sauce should have plenty of flavour. I usually add lemon rice to see how those flavours work too. That's what I ordered, and boy was it worth it! Absolutely spot on for me! And the chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. Not too tough, not too soft. It's not often I am moved to comment on the rice, but this time: oh yes! Just the right amount of zest with some other subtle flavours mixed in too!

Brits, Americans, Aussies, and others note: as is usual in Spain, if you want the authentic experience, ask for it. Indian food here is often made a lot less spicy to accommodate the Spanish palette. They offered to make mine medium, and I replied that the chef should cook it like he was making it at home in Mumbai. I CERTAINLY got what I asked for (whether that was medium or not I have no clue)! My flatmate was very pleased with her biriani, too! We both lived in London for over 20 years, and are used to Brick Lane, so we have some fairly high standards when it comes to Indian cuisine.

The staff speak English very well, and assured me that the chef could make my food gluten-free (I'm a coeliac). The delivery guy was very polite and professional despite my having given him the wrong flat number originally and causing him a bit of fuss.

40 euros for 4 dishes is reasonable, and I shall for sure be ordering from here again, when...
