⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal – a must-visit in Valencia!
This place is an absolute gem. If you’re in Valencia and love tapas, do yourself a favor and RUN here — don’t walk.
From the moment we stepped inside, the energy was warm, authentic, and buzzing with that unmistakable Spanish soul. The service was effortlessly friendly — like being welcomed into a local’s home — and every dish that hit our table was a work of art.
The patatas bravas? Next-level. Crispy perfection with a smoky, spicy aioli I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. The jamón ibérico basically melted on the tongue. The pulpo a la gallega (Galician-style octopus) was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and served on silky paprika-dusted potatoes.
But the real showstopper? The tortilla de patatas — hands down the best I’ve had in Spain. Creamy, rich, golden, and slightly runny in the center — just the way it should be. Paired with a cold glass of local vermouth, it was heaven in every bite.
They clearly care deeply about their ingredients, their presentation, and the whole experience. The attention to detail, the flavor combinations, and the relaxed yet electric atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our entire trip.
Five stars feel like not enough. This place deserves a category of its own.

Read moreWe had a poor experience for several reasons. It was a busy Saturday night, so we did expect to wait longer after ordering, but after nearly an hour we decided to ask the waitress to check. Instead of reassuring us or bringing a small bite to carry us over, she decided to argue with us, saying other people had simply ordered before us. To be clear: we didn't complain, or act rudely. We just asked her to check. I guess she thought we were being impatient. She did finally say she would go check with the kitchen, but then never got back to us, so we had to ask another waitress who then did assure us it was coming soon.
The food finally arrived more than an hour after ordering. There is nothing particularly wrong with the food, but it's also nothing special. It certainly didn't justify the long wait, even if the restaurant was busy.
Ultimately, the place just isn't what it pretends to be. It's not nearly as old as it says it is, it isn't authentic... It's not even Spanish. Im not sure how to explain the high rating. I understand one can have an off night, and I mostly leave positive reviews (check my history), but this was just an all around letdown. It could still have been an OK experience if the waitress had understood what hospitality means.
Long story short: not...
Read moreCame across this tapas bar online after seeing multiple reviews so we decided to give it a go.
We surprisingly were able to get an 8:30pm booking on the day, which was a pleasant surprise considering the queues when we showed up!
The restaurant is very small, with perhaps 10 tables only sitting 2 people at each. While it does create a cozy, intimate environment, it can feel crowded and slightly elbow to elbow.
The waitress was very helpful in identifying what gluten free options were available for my girlfriend, which ended up being 85% of the menu.
We got seated quickly and were strongly encouraged to order 2-3 tapas per person.
We ordered a bottle of the house white, alongside 5 different tapas for the table.
The food was excellent, came out very quick and was also accompanied by a basket of bread. All the food came at once which we were expecting, however, the table was very small, making it awkward to share and navigate between the small plates.
After we were finished, we were offered dessert and coffee but our stomachs had hit maximum capacity.
The cost was probably higher than you'll spend in other tapas bars but the quality is certainly there with the food and service provided.
Overall, a lovely experience and would definitely recommend to...
