We were having a good night and we approached this restaurant because we were hungry. They said that the kitchen was closed but that we could seat there if we bought drinks. We went across the street to buy some kebabs, and came back for drinks with the food in our hand. We sat down and they took our order. Then, we started eating our food and a guy came and told us “you can’t do that here” without explaining what. He seemed very agitated. At this point we were confused and we wanted to understand what happened. We asked him “what do you mean” and he said that we could not bring food from outside (rule for which they had no sign). We tried talking with the guy to understand what, if anything, we did anything wrong. He got more agitated and we could not make sense of what he was saying (and we are native Spanish speakers just like him) something about that “the kitchen is closed but it is still a kitchen”. He continued to get agitated to the point where we feared that he would get aggressive. We gave up on trying to understand what he was saying and left promptly. My dad is of advanced age now and he has trouble hearing what people say. This was specially hard on him because as much as he tried he couldn’t understand what the guy was saying. It is ok for restaurants to have their own rules and that is something that we want to respect. But there was no reason why they couldn’t have informed us about the rules kindly so that we can follow them. As far as we understood, we were following their rules since we were buying drinks. The worst part was that after leaving, they guy followed us outside of the restaurant and across the street and yelled at us in public about the “bad things” that we did. At no point were we rude to them and we just felt like we were being treated like thugs. Even a second guy showed up and the first thing we did was ask for clarification because we didn’t understand what was happening and his only comment was “I don’t care, leave”. It seems like they all are...

Our first night in Valencia and arrived last at night and ordered a very tasty steak baguette and had an overall positive experience. Next evening decided to eat there again and we both ordered the burgers. When our food arrived the beef burger was pink & under cooked. We sent it back but they just returned the existing meal having blasted the beef burger making it charred on the outside but it was still pink & undercooked. Really not good enough and worrying for our heath we raised it with the management who were not very responsive but did agree we wouldn’t pay for the burgers but would have to pay for the wine that we had only just poured ready to eat with our meal! We just wanted to leave and In the end after much discussion we left having not eaten any food there and not having to pay for anything. They could have handled it so much better if they had just taken the time to cook the burgers first or even started again 2nd time round but to not cook it right even after raising it with them was very poor and not a...

I would not recommend this place to a group of friends. My friends and I enjoyed some drinks and delicious grilled squid at this establishment just a few hours ago. However, our experience took a turn when it came time to settle the bill. The staff member wearing a white shirt was exceptionally rude. While I understand it was a busy night, his response when asked to split the bill was completely unacceptable. He stated, ‘I don’t have time for this,’ with an annoyed demeanor. I just paid for everyone. Paying all in one was not an issue but how he handled it was uncalled for. This level of customer service is disappointing, especially for someone in the hospitality industry. We live in Valencia and we have never experienced this kind of attitude. Theres a first for everything! Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting impression, and we won’t be returning to this place nor recommending it to friends or family. It’s rare for me to give a one-star rating for service, but this incident...

The food is amazing, it comes super fast and it’s delicious. This is one of the best paella I had in the country and my boyfriend is Valencian so he’s super picky when it comes to paella, but he loved it. The croquetas de cocido are amazing, crunchy on the outside and perfectly creamy on the inside. The patatas bravas come with the brava sauce plus some garlic mayo sauce and it’s incredible, if they served their brava sauce alone with bread I’d have eaten only that, that’s how good the sauce is. We also got the sangria which is strong yet delicious. This place is a must go, the prices are super fair. It’s our second time here, the first time we only ordered drinks and they were as delicious as their food. Extra points for their caipirinha: it’s the only place in the country where I saw them making it properly (I’m Brazilian so it does matter to me). Overall it was a 10/10 experience.
