Nice restaurant with very nice view on the sea and nice food. However I ordered 1 paella for €20 with another main then I got charged €40 for 2x paella despite ordering one. The waiter explained that I should have know that the paella comes automatically for two people therefore the price get doubled. There was nothing mention about it in the menu. I never heard of the concept before specially that I having eaten paella many times in Valencia! The waiter was surprised that I didn’t know that. I disputed the bill and the restaurant agreed to charge me for 1x paella. I think it would be better to say that the paella cost £40 rather then saying it costs £20 per person and assuming that the client wants double the quantity. I personally didn’t feel the quantity was enough for 2 people anyway. The staffs were very friendly and very helpful getting us a taxi to get back to our hotel. That night there were no taxis at all and it was thanks to them we managed to get back to our hotel. So big thanks for saving us...
Read moreA very bad experience. First of all, the waiter was not wearing mask in times of Covid19. We needed to tell him to wear one before approaching us. Secondly, he really doesn't like his job. Jumping from one table to the other, throwing the menu on the table (literally throwing), asking for our orders and leaving while we are still talking to him, you name it. Third, the food itself: Vongole was really good. Would have been even better, if 2/3 of them wouldn't have been empty! Seriously?? The squid was burned and had an acid taste, we just left that out completely. Last but not least they serve you bread right at the start. Just for you to find out afterwards that it's not complementary, and that you should pay 8€ for 1 small bread. Which of course we didn't, since we didn't order it. Oh, let's not forget that the food came... but cutlery didn't. We had to ask for that twice, since the first time they brought only half of it. Or...
Read moreI’m so sorry for this restaurant that 2 people recently had bad experiences and gave them 1 star resulting in a low overall rating. This restaurant, staff and food are all superb! We had lunch here on our last day in Valencia and walked here from the Puerto 6 metro/tram stop. We were a bit confused as there isn’t really a way to walk here but we walked along the bike path on the road. After contemplating we were going the right way turning around and then going back to the bike path it was the right way. I think it’s not common for people to walk here. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the beautiful hostess and the simple elegance of the restaurant itself. From beginning to end this was a great experience! We will definitely come back and got some good ideas for us to create ourselves at home. Thank you to the staff of Duna Port for giving us a wonderful end to our 6 nights in...
