I booked this restaurant because I thought it was different from the usual menu in town and had a little twist with Peruvian cuisine, as the waiter pointed out. See for example the gambas a la jillo which is like a shrimp ceviche marinated in the “a la jillo” dressing, of course without the citrusy part. I was disappointed about the olive oil used which gave a rancid taste to the dish. In the tapas section we tried the croquetas with mushroom (boletus), very good taste and nicely presented. Next dish was a variation of Pad Thai noodles that could have been stir fired little more but the sauce was actually pleasant, nutty and refreshed by the pickles, not sure about shichimi spices. Another main was the baccalao confit, I really like the romescu and the crunchy artichokes. Well done chocolate fondant and pistachio variant of tiramisu, but I rather had some Spanish options instead. Last point was the bread basket, bread came little stained and not warm. Small selection of wines in the list but I was happy with my choice, 100% verdiejo, soft and with good aromas. Atmosphere was poor just due the fact that the restaurant had just couple of tables plus us. Service was good, we had a girl serving us always with smile and despite the fact I was answering in English or in a broken Spanish, she never got bothered. A place to try for sure and for this I am giving full 5 stars but I would work more on the menu and on a good cold pressed olive oil. This review is not a critic, just my own opinion and should be...

A tourist trap! First of all you need to know that they don’t offer the same menu you will find online at the restaurant. It’s a much more simple menu with fewer choices. The food was nothing special, not great quality and totally overpriced for what it is. The calamares were too salty, the croquetas not hot. Also people at the other tables weren’t happy and sent food back to the kitchen. The waiter couldn’t tell us anything about the food. They really don’t offer lots of different dishes so one could expect that the waiters at least know what they serve.

I didn’t find the restaurant child-friendly. They put hot sauce on nearly everything. Something an experienced waiter (who knows the dishes he serves) could take into account and mention while...

This restaurant is in a nice area close to the centre València. It is just newly opened since December’23. It holds about 30 people for dinner. The decor is very new and very nice. It does however lack a warm ambiance. The service is very good. The wine and beer are good quality. The food is good quality but the portion sizes are small for the price and should really be accompanied by some sides of potato or vegetable or salad. The desserts are between €7 and €8 and are quite small.

This is a newer restaurant in El Carmen. The design is comfortable and welcoming. The server was very friendly and helpful. We chose the menu del dia. The entrante was a nice plate of smoke fish salad which we enjoyed. Our two main plates weren't particularly good. The shrimp pad thai was very small and had just two small (and not good) shrimp. The curried vegetable dish was nothing special. The bread service was nice and the cheesecake very good.
