Raffaello Pasta e Pizza — Restaurant in Valencia

I was very disappointed about my experience after having read good reviews. I came today with my husband and 6 year old daughter, when we arrived despite only 4 tables full at the time we were given a small table for 2 people in front of the toilets in a very tight space. The waiter then got a plate from another table and placed it to make it a 3 person's table then didn't give us a chair even though there was 3 staff standing in front of us doing nothing so we ended up having to help ourselves to grab a chair. They then handed us our food on very hot plates to my our hands, which is not very safe for my 6 year old, but I noticed they place food on the table for other guests. They also gave pizza cutting tools to other tables and not us. Unfortunately, the staff serving us were not very friendly and seem keen to deliberately go out of their way to not give any standard service. The food was nice, however, and despite feeling uncomfortable as to why we were treated differently, we didn't let it spoil...

Salvatore provided us with a 7-star experience during our last visit. Our group of 8 was impressed by his high level of patience as he meticulously walked us through the menu options. When he noticed that I was struggling to choose from the dizzying array of fabulous dishes, he personally recommended a tailored lobster spaghetti that was absolutely delicious. My friends also loved everything they ordered, from the pizzas to the lasagna - we covered the whole gamut! We have tried many different restaurants in both Alicante and Valencia and today was our last day and we were about to leave this country without having any decent meal at all till by chance we ended up at this incredible restaurant. The pizza was DELICIOUS like a true Italian food that gave me flash backs to my time in Italy. We are finally happy to leave this country with a good memory of this place.
