Malafacha — Restaurant in Valladolid

This little mexican place in Valladolid is a gem. We weren't able to take photos of what we ordered because we can't wait to eat it. They were that good! From the shrimp skewers to the beef fajitas to the melon ice cream, everything was a treat! Service was great as well-- very friendly and helpful in recommending what to order. Went in to use the toilet as I felt unwell. Was verbally abused by the staff who threatened to call the police and demanded I leave, even after I tried to buy something by way of apologies. Incredibly shocked by such treatment. I am a middle aged woman and mother, not a drunk teenager trying to pull a fast one. I have eaten here numerous times but will never come back after been treated...

Hemos visitado Malafacha por primera vez y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. El local, situado en la coqueta Plaza de Cantarranas, tiene un ambiente muy acogedor que te traslada directamente a México, pero lo mejor está por venir…

La atención del personal ha sido impecable: cercanos, amables y con muchas ganas de que disfrutes la experiencia. Se nota que les apasiona lo que hacen y conocen bien su cocina.

La comida, sencillamente deliciosa. Platos tradicionales mexicanos, elaborados con mimo y con ese equilibrio justo entre autenticidad y sabor. Cada bocado estaba lleno de matices, bien presentado y con ingredientes de calidad.

Una excelente opción si te apetece un viaje gastronómico al corazón de México sin salir de Valladolid. Repetiremos seguro. ¡Muy recomendable!

Solo una sugerencia: ya que algunos platos se disfrutan más comiendo con las manos, sería un detalle disponer de una toallita refrescante para limpiar las manos...
