La Parra de Millos — Restaurant in Vigo

Well, it was raining pretty hard so we ducted into this place and came across a pretty eclectic owner!

Sat down just before they closed for the afternoon and had a few drinks. We were offered two whole hand sized crabs as complimentary tapas, but sadly both my partner and myself don't eat seafood and the look on his face was incredulous as we turned it down!?! But he brought us some good cheese instead.

I managed to snatch a photo of the crabs afterwards from where they were being stored.

So we walked past this place 2 or 3 times because it was just opening and quiet …. Don’t hesitate , just get in .Menu del dia … an absolute bargain , THE most fresh fish , anchovies and sea bass .Possibly the best chip I’ve ever had , patatas fritas . For twelve euros ? yes including a bottle of wine and a coffee . Family run … I bet they have great...

Walked in at 9pm on a Saturday evening. Took one look at us and said something in Spanish expressing that they’re not serving food anymore / kitchen is closed. Probably NOT tourist-friendly. So disappointed because the other reviews make it sound so good. It’s too bad. Save your leg energy and...
