We arrived quite early as a group of 8 without making a booking, and the hosts immediately accommodated us. The menu is written on a chalkboard, and specials with translation were given to us via handwritten note. The initial crowd was post work locals, and later on, it started filling up with more locals. The seafood was excellent, far better than the lunch we had at a restaurant at the market. Other options were also well received - croquettes, pork, meatballs etc. Great beer on tap. First of all, I really liked the service. The food is tapas style, so it's best to share. We had a vegetarian among us and the waitress almost made a menu on the spot so we all could eat enough and varied.

My god, this was a surprise! A simple and small restaurant in old town Vigo, and a delicious fresh seafood meal. The "mejillón no vapor" (steamed mussels) was the most impressive dish but everything else was delicious, too. Pimentos Padrón, almejas, you name it.
