The place was stunning and tasty. In the place it had a seating that reminded me of my dad who used to play cello for Beethoven United. The only thing I thunk was omg how this could bring everyone to gether. And letâs not forget the dinners. Where usually you expect gammon or a Sunday pie you actually get Canarian delight or an escalope. Real cool Spanish style scran. Me and my situationship collided and immediately ordered some garlic gambas (prawns) with cheese (queso) plus tuna and bits. Altogether it was party time in our faces. I said âwow now weâre cooking â my hubster nodded gravely. We disagreed and still loved each other very little minute. Next came the main story of the tale. It comprised of two main plates. Numbro unio was fish of this soul day and called grilled Saul. And next was numbio dos named âduck duck with duckington quack sauceâ both came and were delectable and delicious and gorgeous but they were also good. We reckon we never have much to eat in normal times but this time it filled many gaps and filled many holes. We said thanks to all the hospitable customers. They said youâre the best blooming punters ever, please return soon pronto! We thank them kindly and there were a few proposals during tonight! Which made the jealousy even greater. Hopefully my hubby proposes to moi at the place called la chalanita soon tomorrow! Hasta la...
Read moreWell, I'm not sure if I have the words to describe this restaurant, but I'm try. Firstly, if you want to eat here, book it. We got the last table in the place. I found it from reviews, all of which have some merit, so we were well informed. What drew us to the restaurant was that it is described as Spanish and it certainly is. Its decor is cosy (some say too small with the tables too close), but I believe this adds to the charm. The service was great, the menu was really inviting and the food was simply superb. We sgared a starter and then ate from the sharing menu and (flambed sea bass) this is a spectacular sight, with the dish flambed in the restaurant for everyone to see. We had a bottle of local wine, and it didn't disappoint. Even though the restaurant was full, we were still cared for by all the staff. The atmosphere was lovely with spectacular sea views from the promenade windows. By the way, the toilets were spotless. We stayed in Playa Blanca and also on Fuerteventura during this trip and this meal was top of the lot. So to recap, book in advance, ask for a wondow seat, the tables are cosy, get a flambe dish to...
Read moreWe were looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate the last night of a lovely holiday. My wife ordered pork fillet which was fine and I ordered sirloin steak which was awful. I, literally, could not cut through the steak, let alone chew it. I spoke to the waiter and showed him the gristle that ran through the whole thing. He apologised and took it away. A few minutes later he returned and said that the other sirloins were equally poor and suggested that I choose fillet instead. I accepted and thanked him for his honesty. After 25 minutes my wife had completely finished her meal and there was still no sign of my fillet steak which I thought may have taken 10 minutes. By now I had lost my appetite and, not wishing to eat on my own, I asked for the bill. The waiter apologised and presented me with a bill for the full amount of my wifeâs meal and our three drinks- no attempt to waive the cost of the drinks or to offer any form of compensation. The whole experience was totally unacceptable and we will...
