Restaurante Puerto Blanco — Restaurant in Yaiza

I rarely comment bad reviews I'm not one of those people but this place in the space of 30mins somehow managed to wind me up enough that I felt strongly enough to do it. First place we tried as we arrived, I had chicken skewer which was raw and I mean visibly raw. I had eaten the top portion of the chicken it was only as I went for a second bite I noticed it was raw and remember thinking that was really moist then realized why. I was soo angry as the last way you want to start a holiday is with food poisoning, luckily I didn't get it although how I have no idea! The staff brushed off the incident without much consideration, the waiter saw it took the plate without saying anything just a quick sorry then 5mins later came back with another plate. I'll be honest no one is interested in eating a second attempt if a restaurant can't cook chicken properly the first time. The guy on the table next to us had a hot cup of tea spilt over his bare leg by the waiter my wife treated him and waiters seemed clueless. 2 fairly big strikes in the space of one sitting. Also worth noting the rest of the food was rubbish, salad was dry. There rating in general is quite high maybe we went on a really bad day I hope these days aren't a regular occurrence because no ones hard earn holiday deserves to be ruined by such poor...

When choosing to eat in Playa Blanca it is always difficult because there is so much choice however I am so glad we chose Puerto Blanco. In my opinion it was one of my favourite places to eat in Playa Blanca. We enjoyed it so much we came back and ate twice during our holiday. The staff are so friendly and cater for all your needs. The food is so delicious and freshly cooked to order. Came for both dinner and lunch. They have a great selection to choose from but the waiter recommended the steaks especially. We were not disappointed. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were so tender. Duck spring rolls for starter were also really good - packed full of duck and nice and crispy, not soggy. Great wine too, recommend the Matarromera Crianza👌 Lunch time was also amazing. Went for the chicken burrito but the waiter kindly catered for me as I said I only wanted chicken, cheese and rice inside of it (I'm so fussy🙈) and it came out exactly as I'd asked and it was so delicious. One of the best burritos we've had. Generous filling, chicken well seasoned and in a nice spicy marinade and to top it all of toasted and wrapped with an outer layer of cheese!! Overall amazing food. I would recommend to anyone and next time I'm in Lanzarote this is the first place...

What an amazing place!!! I prebooked a table which was good as it was packed and after spending the evening here I can see why!! We had our 11 Yr old son with us who has additional needs and who really struggles with eating out and the process of choosing from a menu.... But they were amazing with him! From the moment we arrived they made us feel special, they put him at ease and have us plenty of time to choose from the menu coming back the times when he still couldn't decide! The food....... My goodness it was incredible! I had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, my husband had chateau brione which was cooked in front of him in an incredible display and our son had three separate starters. The food was delicious and so fresh. After the mains they made a big fuss of my husband for his birthday..... And then did the same for our son so he didn't feel left out!!!!

My one regret?? Not going here earlier in our holiday so that we could have the opportunity to...
