Secrets are not usually the best kept secret but this secreto 100% made my hubby and me so vocal. The secreto is very gorgeous when it’s found and when we found it we were so elated. We sat outside next to gods blue sea and had a fantastic table. We asked for menus which were given to us by the gentle boy. “Boy!” The boy keenly scampered to us with glee and menus in his arms which looked clean. Hubby remarked “wow boy what big menus you have and what clean arms you have!” The menu boy was happy. We asked for dos Campari spritz, they gave us Campari sprites which tasted better than Campari spritz. We then said please mr boy sir may us order some staterinos and he said “sure” so we shouted “GET IN THERE MY BOY!” The boy ran inside chuckling. We waited for a short minute before the starters arrived. We ate buratta and pulled gyoza pork starters. Both tasted immense like nothing bad has ever happened to the people. Mainly course we ordered the thing that was steak and the wifey of my lifey ordered porkington ribs. WOW woah WAHOOOOOO I was jubilee at the taste, flavour, sensation and aura. My hubby smiled widely and so loudly it woke up the most sleepy in sleepyville! In pudding section we decided not to partake (although pudding looked quality) meaning it sadly was coming to an ending. We have had thousands of suppers in our 30 marriage years yet nothing comes close to the secretive secreto. We will not forget to return but in secret hehehe. Lots of lurve Jimmy and Kelly ( and the...
Read moreA very poor experience overall, with substandard food and staff not accepting our valid criticisms. Would never return to this restaurant. The waiter arrived at our table with the starter but took it away as the wine and water had not been served at that stage. It was left on the counter for another five minutes until the drinks were delivered to the table. The place was not overly busy but the service was slow and when the mains arrived my wife’s meal was lukewarm and my own was a complete disaster. The ‘Secreto’ burger described as rib beef on the menu looked and tasted like a pulled pork sandwich. The waitress insisted that this was pulled pork exactly as per the menu and when we reexamined the menu with her then she claimed that she had misspoken and that it was pulled beef. Either way it wasn’t as described on the menu and a most unattractive (and over salted) offering. It wasn’t a burger and I seriously doubt it was beef but they insisted they were right. We paid the full bill as presented and left very...
Read moreMyself and my partner visited this lovely new restaurant along the coast in Playa Blanca a few nights ago. We had the most wonderful evening. The staff were nothing short of incredible, especially Marco who was extremely helpful with talking us through the menu and advising how many plates he would recommend for the sharing dishes and if we wanted to order more then we had that option, on a side note he also took a lovely photo of us with a beautiful backdrop! The food here was just sensational. Full of flavor and the menu stands out from all the other restaurants in playa Blanca which have very similar menus. Different yet perfectly executed. Will be recommending to friends and family in the future. Ps excuse my partners fingers he couldn’t wait...
