We recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cuadra Restaurant in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the mouthwatering Coconut and Coriander Fing Fingers, which were absolutely bursting with flavor. The combination of the coconut and coriander created a unique and tantalizing taste that left me wanting more. I must also give a special shoutout to the Chicken Wings in BBQ Sauce - the smoky and tangy flavors were simply out of this world.

What truly stood out to me was the exceptional service I received throughout the entire evening. The staff at La Cuadra Restaurant were attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was flawless. From recommending their signature dishes to promptly fulfilling any requests, they made me feel like a valued guest.

The ambiance of La Cuadra Restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. This restaurant is not worthy of the high ratings it has. We chose it based on the reviews on Google and they could not have been more wrong. Our initial greeting was very friendly and the staff were attentive but that was where the positives ended. We ordered 3 tapas to start and 3 main courses. The food was absolutely abysmal. Fried squid had zero flavour and frankly zero squid in it. My sister ordered salmon in a lemon sauce which arrived with what could only be described as a thick cheese like sauce and was inedible (see picture). Fish of the day and lamb chops had no flavour and were served with 4 potatoes the size of a coin. When we complained about the food one member of staff bent down, smelt the plate and said I didn't cook it and then walked away. That same member of staff was incredibly rude to a man who complained about the lack of hand soap in the male bathroom and threw him out of the restaurant. one has to wonder how the staff are washing their hands after they use the toilet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding! La Cuadra is a true gem in Playa Blanca. From the moment we arrived, everything was five stars – the location, the food, the drinks, and above all, the service from the amazing team.

After a fantastic lunch for three, we were so impressed that we booked again for a group of nine to celebrate a double birthday. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, setting up a table with breathtaking views over the marina and Playa Blanca. Be sure to book a table in advance for the best views!

The tapas is exceptional – the fried goat’s cheese is an absolute must-try, the chorizo in cider is packed with flavour, and the ham croquetas are wonderfully creamy and crisp. The cocktails are spot on, and don’t leave without trying the Canarian special barraquito – a sweet, layered coffee that’s the perfect way to finish your meal.
