Whilst looking at the large menu facing the street a staff member came over and did the hard sales push. I explained we were looking for vegan options and I was told they can make what I wanted (within reason) from the menu. In the end we got the vegetable paella which was pleasant and full of chunky vegetables. It wasn't as 'pretty' as the paella at other restaurants but it tasted good and was filling. Afterwards, we were offered a free drink the waiter suggested Bailey's but we opted for limoncello.

Visited a few times whilst on holiday in Playa Blanca. English Breakfast was probably the best we had had locally and were also happy to add some black pudding for me. We had fillet steak one evening and Chateau Brien on another. The staff are the best and make you feel so welcome, with a special mention to Hassan who we have seen now on 3 visits to the island. He remembers us, makes our evenings feel all the more special and is a joker. Lovely place and highly recommended.

One of the many harbour side eateries in a long row that runs for about half a mile along the seafront in the Centre of the resort Quite pricy when compared to some close by but the food standard is better than many in this stretch Can get everything from just a coffee or beer up to a full 3/4 course meal with some decent wines Great view of the harbour area with the constant arrival and departure of the local ferries A nice place to relax and watch the world go by

Edit - Unfortunately had to drop my service rating to a two thanks to a very rude reply from the owner. These are my honest thoughts, not intentionally jeopardising the restaurant. Sadly some people can't handle the truth that the meal we had was a huge disappointment...

Thought we'd give this restaurant a try for our last night on holiday after seeing great reviews. Lovely location right on the seafront. Presentation of the restaurant was OK, if a little dated. Service was quick, although we felt a bit conned by hidden charges (charged us for bread when we didn't ask for it, charged us €5 for water without telling us etc.). Food quality was disappointing after hearing great things. I had Garlic Prawns which were served on a sizzling skillet, found the dish to be incredibly watery and bland, the sliced garlic was also burnt due to being served on a hot skillet. For the main I had a grilled Fillet Steak with mushroom sauce, which I was surprised to see served on a sheet of pasta with Mediterranean veg. The presentation was a bit messy, steak didn't look appealing at all and it was served with the cheapest looking fries I've ever seen, scattered around the plate. Steak was cooked medium rare, which I did ask for, but tasted a bit offish. Mushroom sauce was fine, nothing special. The pasta and veg wasn't something I'd usually have with a steak and honestly, never again, didn't do anything for me at all. Dessert selection looked all pre-made/store bought so didn't bother with any of them sadly. But with all being said, Beer and cocktails were lovely. Beer served in a super chilled glass (almost frozen) which is great! The baileys served on the house was a nice touch, but definitely tasted like a cheaper brand and was curdled rather badly. Overall cost of the meal (for two) was about €70 which personally I found a bit pricey for what we was given, you can find much better food in the area for less. Sadly, a disappointing end to an otherwise...

Update: We returned to the restaurant a week and a half after our first visit. Unfortunately, our experience the second time was very poor, and as such I've updated my review to reflect this. We ordered a Margarita Pizza, which was bland and undercooked. We also ordered a Pasta Carbonara, which was also underwhelming, being slightly bland and needing seasoning, and also had onion in it for some strange reason. In addition, we had a beef burger which in contrast to the first night, was bland and tasted cheap. Chicken quesidilla was also ordered, which whilst having flavour, had low quality cheese that wasn't melted, and it contained ingredients that a member of our party couldn't eat, and this was after asking what ingredients the dish contained. Thankfully the grilled squid was fine, but could have benefitted from being cooked slightly longer. The cocktails ordered ranged from fine to really nice, so that was a bonus. Unfortunately, after our second visit, I can't recommend coming here.

My original review from our initial visit is below:

We went on our first day in Lanzarote, and it was a brilliant way to start. All the staff were brilliant, friendly and funny! The food was amazing, it did take 40 minutes to arrive BUT that's because we had Paella which takes that long to make properly and freshly, so the wait was both not a problem and absolutely worth it. Cocktails were also excellent and highly...

We was sat by the front of restaurant even though we said we didn’t want to be and because my mother in law is disabled they didn’t make it very easy for her to park her scooter or sit down as the table were so close together. The bloke who wanted us to eat at the restaurant was very pushy like them annoying sales reps. My self my 2 kids and partner and mother in law all ordered rather large amount of food and to be honest we definitely wont be recommending or returning, the jacket potato came out stone cold on the inside and was awful then after raising this with staff they took ages for it to be sorted to the point we had have enough of the rest of the food we had and told them to return it as it then came out second time the same JACKET POTATO as before didn’t even bother to cook fresh 1 !

The lasagne was also under cooked to which made my mother in laws feel sick & my spaghetti carbonara did not taste right at all so much so I didn’t even eat more then 3 mouth full something just wasn’t right !

Paid the bill and we all left feeling really sick and un well !

Worse meal we had...
