My my my! What my god! How on god’s green dog did Sergio pull that menu out of god’s blue hat?! Myself alongside my new toy boy raced down god’s concrete path to sample a slice of holy Sergio. When we arrived the place the place we arrived and we sat down. We were sat by gods blue sea! The view was astounding and just welcomed by us. The menu was originally designed to cater to lovers but myself and my hubby were fighters as far as we knew. Not lovers. We changed our tune when we perused that delectable selection of food! I ordered the fish croquette parcels and hubbington ordered the pork tacos. It made us smile. The fish parcels were sqaure, light, yummy and cute. The pork tacos were mean, manly, and delicious. Next we vaped to let off some steam. Next we ordered a main event dish, I thought that coronavirus was a hoax, I ordered cheek of beef with saucy creamy sauce and hubby ordered porky rib rice which came with peanut sauce lovely. Our mouths experienced good feelings and tastes and said yum that is a cracking bit of dinner. Meanwhile, a whole hour had passed without us even realising. So then we finished our tasty trays of scran! We wanted to eat more but were full so asked for the payment thing. The man happily let us do our payment and wished us a good Christmas and a buenos noche! Next time...

Good food, service could be improved. I called the restaurant in the afternoon to check their opening times. On arrival we were initially send away as we didn’t have a reservation. They could have made us aware of that earlier during the phone call. We waited outside with a drink until there was a table available. Side note; I was on crutches. The waiter seemed stressed and we didn’t feel welcome. We were charged with a bottle of water we never received. Food was good but octopus was a bit too crispy and served cold. As a desert I took the chocolate cake with banana ice cream, which was delicious but I was a bit disappointed with the tiny ball of ice cream. Overall a nice place with a pretty interior, make sure you make a reservation up front and avoid having a table in front of the restaurant...

Food was great and the service just as good. What was very unusual was the way they were bringing out the dishes. We had 3 starters and 1 main to share between the 3 of us. We had the 1st starter, then they cleared it and we waited for the 2nd one. They cleared this one and then we waited again and they brought out the main... They cleared it and then brought out the 3rd starter. To be really honest it worked out really well as it was for us more of a tasting and sharing experience but if you were not sharing then it would be really strange. Every single plate we got was amazing. We did have to wait maybe 10 to 15 minutes between each plate and we were there at opening time. We'll definitely go back but I don't think I would chance it later on as the waiting time might be quite...

Probably one of the nicest places to eat in Play Blanca, but remember to book. Like most of the really good restaurants in the town, it's quite small. So booking is important. Especially if you'd like to sit on the lovely balcony. There is a modern take on the tapas menu and the mains are similarly created with care and attention to detail. Desserts are similarly quite individual and extremely good. The wine list is relatively small and focused on wines from the Canaries. And for the beer/larger drinkers, Dorada Especial is on draft. The front of house people are lovely and very helpful and the restaurant has an open kitchen so you can see the work that goes into preparing the food. All in all, this is a great place to eat and enjoy a beautiful view of the port and the sea.
