We were told about this place from some friends of ours that commented on the authenticity of the food.
It's really a great friendly comfortable atmosphere right downtown. The tables and seating are comfortable, spaced far enough apart where you don't feel like you are too many people stuffed in a small space.
The waitress was friendly and made good suggestions and explained not just the food but in some cases the way in which it was prepared.
The tacos are absolutely extraordinary. Fully developed flavors accompanied by citrus or lime juice. The carnitas are divine! The owners are clearly passionate about food and have gone to great lengths to make sure the food is as authentic a Mexican as you could possibly find in Zaragoza.
The tacos themselves were a little pricey but the quality was there and I will gladly pay the price again for the quality of the food.
The tarta de tres leches was very average. The cake itself was too dense and in our opinion didn't really allow for absorption of the sweet mixture which makes this a great dessert. It wasn't quite as sweet as it should have been at least what we are familiar with.
I can't wait to go back and try some of their other food.
Update: Tried the chicken enchiladas, Huarache de asada, and arrechera bowl. Outstanding. The flavors are amazing and the attention to quality is without equal in Zaragoza....

I liked this place a lot and compared to the other Mexican restaurants that I have tried this one is winning,
There's really spicy, which is what I hadn't been able to find.
Regarding the food, the experience has been wonderful, we started with a very tasty michelada.
They brought us a free starter from the house, very good
We ordered the topopos and they were very good, the portion small but tasty, then we ordered a molcajete that was brutal, this was really good, the meat, the chicken, the vegetables, the chorizo, the melted cheese and the chef's sauces were very good. It comes with 4 tortillas but if you want you can order more.
The desserts were very good but the one I liked the most was the corn pancake, a spectacular combination, they definitely have to try it. The L tres leches was fine, the girl liked it a lot.
We were 2 adults and one smaller and the price seemed reasonable to me.
The atmosphere is very cozy, the music is very good and according to the place, it is small and I recommend booking in advance
The waiters are very nice, both the boy and the girl, their attention...
Read moreIt was quite mediocre. The ceviche, as a dish that really only has 3-5 ingredients it was not well balanced. Too sour, too sweet, almost as if sugar was added. The carnitas were dry, the pineapple on my al pastor looked old. The flavors overall were anything but vibrant. We pointed this out to the waitress and I asked when the food had been prepared. She politely said she doesn't know, she doesn't know the kitchen (perhaps a misunderstanding because of our poor spanish and her poor english) but the answer to the question should be today! Not " i dont know" Even if its not true. ;) I hope this review...
