Went to the dinner on Saturday 7th May 2025 for the first time & surely for the LAST time

The WORST buffet I have ever had

Everything was a DISASTER from start to finish

1 - The soup section had 2 soups , even the name tags on the soups were out of order most people got confused from the beginning

2 - bread section was not fresh at all

3 - Had 4 salads surely from the previous days leftovers & tasted like garbage

4 - Had a sushi section which only had a cucumber sushi & another vegetable one

5 - Main courses nothing tasted good everything tasted bad & the selection was surprisingly poor ( Not a single carvery item or not even a single prawn for the 7,000/- priced buffet)

6 - Desserts section too nothing tasted good , the best dessert was the ice cream by far

Anyone thinking to visit this place DO NOT EVEN GO NEAR THIS RESTAURANT

Buffet priced at 7,000/- not even 1,000/- LKR worthy

Go to a buffet at a normal rice & curry restaurant it will be worth more than...

Came for the high tea buffet on a Friday afternoon,we had been there 10 years ago on our previous trip to Sri Lanka, it's a lovely colonial style hotel with the verandah overlooking the garden and out to sea,the buffet is a very large selection of warm and cold savouries and a huge selection of deserts and sweets,there is also fruit juice and iced coffee and tap.tea or coffee is served at the table.there was a guitar player for background music.A bonus was the wedding that was taking place on the lawn so nice to see the procession and everyone in their finery, it's a lovely spot to watch the sunset also.dont think the food selection was as good as 10 years ago but that could be rosy memories, still a nice experience in a...

We came to veranda restaurant at Galle face hotel to celebrate our cousin's birthday. I can safely say that this lunch buffet is totally worth the price, there was a lot of variety on the food and the food tasted great as well. They also helped us celebrate our cousins birthday by playing a song with band and helping us with the cake. Only issue I had was with the round table design, it's difficult to eat from those tables due to them being shorter and difficult to adjust the legs.
