We were very disappointed at Spa Ceylon Royal Indulgence Spa today. We have been going to Spa Ceylon from the time it first started at Park Street Mews. We have always been satisfied with the service and products and have been recommending it to others over the years and even gifting spa ceylon vouchers to people. We started going to their Royal Indulgence outlet a couple of years ago and had no complaints at all - in fact we were very happy with their service. However we have noticed during the last couple of times we went that there is a deterioration of standards. Today was the worst and hence I decided to write this review in the hope that something will be done about it. Although we were well satisfied with our treatments and both our therapists were very good, we felt totally frustrated by the staff at the reception. Firstly, they said the spa ceylon app is not working and therefore they cannot update our rewards points. Then when we presented our vouchers for payment they said one treatment voucher has expired and we could pay the difference to which we happily agreed but they said their system is down and can't check if there is a difference to pay. They said they will sort it out while we have our treatments but once we finished nothing had been done about it. I also wanted to purchase some products but when I came to the counter to pay for them there was no one there. The only staff member who was at the reception was attending to other customers. However I could hear other staff talking and laughing in the staff resting area. Finally after waiting for about 10 minutes we just walked out in frustration without purchasing the products because not a single staff member seemed to care to attend to us. Read moreThis is to express my deep disappointment with the quality of the cologne and body spray bottles I have purchased from Spa Ceylon. Unfortunately, I have encountered persistent issues with the spray mechanism on both the cologne and body spray bottles. The spray part simply does not work effectively, which significantly detracts from the overall experience of using these products. It is disheartening to see such poor quality in something that should be a simple and enjoyable part of my daily routine.
Moreover, I have found the customer service experience to be lacking. While I appreciate the efforts of Zain at the Royal Store, who provided good service, I cannot say the same for the overall customer care process. Sheron from customer care did her best to assist me, but I often felt the need to chase after her for updates and resolutions. This is not the level of service I expect as a customer.
Additionally, I believe that Wasanthi from the Royal Store needs to improve her service skills. Her demeanor often came across as indifferent, and she seemed to overlook the issues faced by customers like myself. It is crucial for staff to be attentive and responsive to customer concerns, and I hope that improvements can be made in this area.
In conclusion, I urge Spa Ceylon to enhance the quality of their bottle , particularly the spray mechanisms, as well as to invest in better training for their customer service representatives. As a loyal customer, I am disappointed and hope to see significant improvements...

I don't know why these employees just can't treat every customer the same manner..I'd like to inform the higher positions that please teach them how to manage a customer.. Don't make them uncomfortable yes we know spa ceylon products are expensive so what if we can afford.. If we are the people who pay our bill what's the matter with you.. We don't come to buy stuff from the employ salary.. Please concentrate on these issues..don't just look at the cloths and judge whether she/he can afford anything may be she can buy the most expensive product of yours. Why do you guys just treat customers different way telling that its very expensive.. So disappointed.. We know that the products are expensive we don't just walk in to look around and have a nice look and then ask the prices and tell oooh we'll come next time ,I just wanted to look arround no we don't come for that.. She on those employees and even we feel more uncomfortable when they treat us like that I know I'm not the 1st to felt like that even my mom had to face the same situation today at negambo branch so sad when she said that the employee told her "ma'am these products are expensive " no girl she didn't come to buy stuff from your salary she came to buy thinhs from her own money..
