We eat the Schnitzel submarine and french fries aside. We shared between 2 and we felt it was sufficient. As many of the reviews comment, the bread can be a little bit dry, I think because of the type of bread they used or how they warm it. It doesn't seem to be old bread. We added mayonnaise and ketchup and it balanced that. Those two things were 3,200 rupees for 2 people, sharing the plate. It depends where you tend to eat it can seem overpriced, of course it is way more expensive than eating local. The restaurant was all alone I suppose because we are now on low season. I have experienced this thing in many other restaurants these days.

Unfortunately, as an north American, cheese withdrawals can be debilitating. Pizza is one staple carrier for cheese in our diet. We ordered the four cheese and the infinity chili pizzas. We were greatly relieved, as the lack of cheese in our diets here in Sri Lanka was causing night sweats. The pizza is very good. The service is great. It’s probably the best pizza we’ve had here, and it’s wood fired. A pizza could eaten by one big eater or shared by two smaller eaters. But bring your own alcohol.

If you want to have proper Wood fired pizza . It’s so good Most European or British pizza places won’t match. Nice thin crispy base. Proper pepperoni on pizza not some kind of wurstle If I want to be so critical could have a bit more basil leaf on the margarita otherwise it’s bang on. Good atmosphere however upstairs can be a little bit Smokey due to oven. Minor issue.

Overall well below average experience.

Food was not even at a level of a self-prepped meal (we had subs and some unorthodox interpretation of sabich).

„Service“ was not any form of service at all. 45min wait time, unattentive waiters not even knowing where to bring the food and upon request (and confirmation, so no language barrier) it took around 7min to get some ketchup - and that only after asking a second time.

The cost is inadequately high for the product you get. This would have the potential to become a nice place, but today (November 2024)...
