I almost never give restaurant such low review but today I would like to share my lunch experience . I went to this restaurant for lunch with my husband and my daughter today. We ordered Pad thai ,pad mee with chicken and pad king with beef. We asked the staff if they can fix the dishes without sugar. But the answer is no because all the cooking sauces are prepared ahead and there is sugar in already. After some while ,the Pad thai ,pad mee were severed which are ok even though they taste sweet. Then the pad king with beef was served lastly. I started to eat but I saw there were some beef were still a bit raw which with a bit blood on . I went to the staff and explained that I don't like eat meet with blood and asked them to make it well done. The chef seemed quite annoyed by me and was shouting something in Thai which I didn't understand. But finally she took the plate and reluctant to fix the dish. After some minutes, following with a big smell of burning food in the restaurant ,my food was severed again.... that was my pad king and with burnt beef and vegetable. I was quite angry but I didn't complain because my daughter and my husband almost finished their food and I was hungry and didn't have the energy to argue more... So I picked up some beef and ate but all the beef were burnt with strong smell. When we were about to leave ,the staff asked how were the dishes today. I said what do you think? The raw beef became burnt beef, this is the way you threated your customers? She explained that because the chef was worried about I would complain the beef were not well done again so she cooked it long. OK, well done and burnt food. I think they are really different. Please hire someone...
Read moreThai Dee is your typical Thai restaurant in Sweden. Nothing will surprise you in here, but that’s a good thing sometimes. Your typical selection of dishes is on the menu, the staff is clearly understanding vegan as a request and it goes fast to receive your order. The interior is simple, but works. The food itself is quite good with rich curry bases, fresh (and good) vegetables, decent enough tofu and plentiful rice (finally!). All that to a really cheap price, I mean you can have a feast for two people with drinks for less than 300 SEK. Some things, like the Spring Rolls are the ones from Saigon Wholesale, but that’s to be expected and I don’t mind to be honest. Fry them up for 45 SEK (8 pieces).
A surprisingly good Thai restaurant right at Kvilletorget. Will definitely be visited more often for the Red...
Read moreI used to eat here alot before the new owner took over and while the restaurant itself got a nice and needed facelift, the quality of the food have suffered. The meat (Beef in this case) was spongy and had a really weird consistency that made it very unappealing. Unsure if it was just not cooked properly or if it was sub par quality. This made me not want to go back. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 for the reason that despite the food not feeling well made, it TASTED absolutely fine, so...
